Do we have to go through this every god damn time someone simply asks for an update? Can't we merely request some info without one or more people acting like complete douchebags? It became a lot more than I expected it to when I started out. Knowing what I know now, however, I think I have raised my own bar a LOT. So it's hard to say.
I'm definitely happy with the final product as a whole. There are some things I could have done better. I don't think they make the game un-fun, but there's room for improvement. I plan on taking the lessons I learned with this project to heart; whatever game I make next will be designed to make this one look bad.

That is good to hear, considering if i ever get around to creating my own hack i want to come out with that kind of attitude because in the end, theres always some room for improvement
Right now I'd be inclined to admire the attitude of simply FINISHING a project vs. any bar of excellence. It seems like nobody who says that they are starting a project actually finishes them. YES - it's true that I don't know how to make a hack, but I shouldn't need to for the purpose of simply making this observation. I'm going totally off topic, sorry. Go, Aegis !@!!

I figured I'd check back on this after a year of being away. I was really hoping to play this mod but seems you've been waiting on some code since 2009. I've done asm in the past for some useless SM projects and can probably finish what your incompetent programmer can't. If you need some help let me know, I can probably get this shit finished in a night.
I've got some not-insignificant plans for promoting this hack beyond just the 'Metroid community' once it's released. Seriously, let's get this done, guys. :) You've got people practically begging to finish up the remaining ASM for you.

because the game's too secksy for their minds to handle :D Just don't pressure acheron to rush the final game release. We don't want that to be the sole reason the game might turn out less than it could have. :(...now it kind of sounds like im adding pressure myself. I'd say everyone should begin forging new hacks to keep their mind off this, even if there's only a 5% chance they'll become full ones :)

I believe that progress is still as it has been for months. Aegis is basically finished, as far as build and whatnot goes, but Acheron is waiting on a few other people for coding / music stuff.

I've offered to do ASM and music for Achy before, but he's never once gotten back to me >.> And AFAIK, I'm the only one who has successfully put a new song into SM... unless you count Kej's music tinkering and his Kraid thingy.
