It was one of those illnesses where I was mostly unconscious or at a hospital, actually. I feel like that's a pretty legit excuse. Trust me, I didn't check out of the hacking scene for shits and giggles.

Yeah, Aegis in Greek means something to do with a shield, or protection.
Boy, printing out 10 pages in one sitting just for one assignment (it's a lab wrap and two research assignments), ugh. Not sure if I should still follow what you guys once said about me ditching homework just for the sole intent of playing Aegis.

I'm not dead, and neither is Aegis. The doctors still aren't sure what the overlying problem with my health has been, but the treatment is at least finally stopping the pain, though symptoms persist. This means I'm finally able to sleep at night, hold down a job, and go back to school (I basically have to re-do last semester since I had to drop all my classes when I was too sick to go for several weeks).
Anyway, if I've got enough energy to go to school again, I'll have free time between classes. And, like always, that time will be Aegis time. Expect an update with some content in the next few weeks, as I try to make up for lost time.
Good, finally you're back to work, Aegis is looking good. I hope you can get back on #jzd now as well, I actually almost got away with impersonating you a few days ago.
Good to know you're getting better. But I would rather know that you're gonna be ok and wait a bit longer for Aegis than you getting sick again. Just take your time with this. Who would moderate us if you got sick again? There'd be wreck and havoc all over the forum.
I see you haven't updated the progress in awhile, how far would you say you are?
The project basically stalled at 80-85%. Kind of a bummer to be so close, but I'm resolved not to force myself through it and cheapen the overall experience.
And of course, there's still the music that needs to be done. RKittens and I will probably start working on that again first.
