..So, anyone else think he lost a few pounds since Super Metroid? Oh, wait, this is his "1st" appearance.

Notice: Most rooms require infection clears, all Metroids. They will latch onto you, draining HP. Bomb them off. Freeze, missiles. All you need to delete them.
When you find a room with a door elevated up, shoot down, the floor will go. enter door right below it. When you run into a room with a slim passage and 2 locked doors, do not think there is a glitch at work. Bomb the floor 2x, Metroids will show up.

Segment 3 will start with Tourian's map leaving 1 door unchecked.

Unlike me, some Speedrunners have more brains than devs that throw it in a game. Not 1x would I have wondered or thought "Maybe I should Morph Ball right here, ensuring nothing hits me."
I also would not have thought of using those standstill frames for a Speed Boost door left!
Shinespark up, with a proper position, then elevator up.
Climb up, door right, escape.
Enter: Chozodia. Lower passage left. Shoot for entry.
Enter: Mother Ship. Passage left: Map Room. Door left, passage left.
Climb up, 4 doors right, upper right included. Must wall jump 2x.
Climb up, door left. Climb up, 2 passages left. Shoot the ground for matching bomb effect. Lowest door left. You will fall down. Door left. Avoid lights. Highest door right.
Climb up, shooting blocks where necessary. 5 doors left.
This room has a hidden passage accessible by shooting the top of the left wall, then crawling in.
Fall down, door left. Enter: Chozo Ruins. Passage left, 2 doors left. Wall jump up, door right.
Fall down, door right. Climb up at end, door right, up left, up right, start wall climbing.
Door left. All the way forward, then 2 doors left, including a fall down.
Additional door left, climb up, door right. Passage right, climb up, door left.
...Before you do, if everyone would look up, you will see a laying chozo statue holding a Power Bomb.
Hidden save room left. In case of alarm, door transition here. Door right.
Follow the Zebesian virus walking with a Power Bomb, 3 doors right.
Climb up a bit, passage left. Door left, climb up, door left.
Climb up at the end of the road, then door left. You will be forced into a save room you cannot run back out of. No, really, only 1 way out of there. Climb up, door left.
WARNING!: Chozo Guardian! Avoid hitting your mirror. When it glows alternately, shoot quickly. 4x should do it.
By the way, when the hell did you grab a Varia Suit?
As you leave, you will find an area with water. Keep running right for Super Missiles.
Fly all the way up, then door right. If you check the floor of the next room, you will find missile blocks. Corner-cutting shortcut. Another of a different type at the bottom, just slamming the floor next to the side of the wall with missiles.
Passage left, fall down, door left.
Fall down. All the way down. Door left. Fall down again. 4 doors right. Passage right, fly up, 2 doors right. Fly up, passage left, then door right. 6 doors right, missile door right.
Climb up, passage left, 32 doors left, climb up, 1 door right, snake passage, 1 door left.
Climb all the way up, then door right. If you check the upper wall in this room, there is a quicker passage you can use. 2 doors right, missile door right. W A R N I N G !: MechaRidley!
Run all the way back to that room with those large windows. Lowest door right, then 2 doors left. Door right. Shortcut time! See that robot? Push him forward with a few missiles. You will have enough room to speed boost. Carry a shinespark all the way to a room with what will total 2 locked doors. You will see an open door. Ball spark in the exact horizontal middle of that door. You will fly straight into a room with 2 blue ships. Waste the Dark Zebezian sub-bosses, you can take 1 out of there.
Exploit tip: Those Dark Zebesians giving you hell? Stand in front of the left edge of the lower rail bridge. a Dark Zebesian will climb up to assault you, but will, for some strange reason, shoot left instead of at you. Point your gun diagonally downward, spam Ice beam shots at it. Rinse and repeat 1x more.

I just realized something: I posted a written version of someone's any%, not 100%. That means I will have to post again, but starting with a 100% video. Great, just great. This time, I will throw in more pictures for reference. For now, these are some pics which, for personal reasons, did not make the cut. If anyone finds these useful, say the word, I will screen a bigger version.
