And, of course, there's the problem that they might do an inventory check and refuse to open to anyone without the Seekers. Go, AR-people, and find out... somehow...
The only way to skip seeker is of course to fire missiles very fast.

Another speed trick method in polluted mire (at least a bit easier) :

Xtrax : Did you try the aerie possible speed trick?
The seeker points regenerate to fast.
everybody knows it's true
if only we had MP1's missiles...

Evil or Very Mad  Evil or Very Mad  Evil or Very Mad to echoes
I'll be back. Maybe...
It probably wouldn't have worked anyway. They probably actually respawn before they appear to regenerate. That or it detects for Seeker Missiles. No, I don't think Seekers can be skipped.
I'm worried about gravity boost skip. The major problem isn't that key but climbing hydrodynamo without grav.boost. It seems to be impossible. A secret world in dark version of hydrodynamo shaft would allow us to wallcrawl and pass this power bomb door. But I think that a secret world won't be found in this room.
There are too much secret worlds to skip items in echoes, I don't like them
Probably already discovered.

Mining station A :You can scan the control panel from outside the corridor if you are close enough. I don't know if it's really faster than the normal way.

You must do what I do in the vid 2 times.

I think you're with most players here. But if any of us EVER want to lower the percent, we're going to have to use SWs. They're a necessary evil.
I run this here hotel of an evening
i agree, and i'm one who doesn't like sw's. i only don't like them becuase i have problems using them. i tried ice beam before flaaghra and failed miserably. i got close, however, but having to reset and wait to load the file, and get into the sw really bothered me. i'm really impatient. HURRY!!!
Have this trick already been discovered? :

Right after beating boost guardian, move to the exact center of the room. That is the precise area where the boost ball upgrade appears.
If done correctly, right after boost guardian death cutscene, you will instantly get the boost ball . :D
Like Wave Beam in Prime 1? I've never heard about that. I think it doesn't save any time, but it looks neat :)

Btw: I haven't tried your aerie speed trick yet; I don't have a save around there...

I don't know if it has already been discovered, but I think you can beat Bomb Guardian in two rounds. Just fire two normal(one might work, too),one semi-charged and one fully charged power beam shot and he should loose half of his life. Do it again in the second round.

And wouldn't it be faster to get Dark Suit when you get the Sky Temple keys in a 100% run? I don't know if the sonic things in Mining Plaza work after you killed Amorbis/got the energy or after you brought the energy back in the Light world. If it would be the first one, I think getting Dark Suit later is faster.
Yes it is like wave beam in prime 1.

It's probably faster.
nice discovery about bomb guardian, I will try that.
Beware: off duty ninja
interesting theory about the dark suit. . . .but can the energy be returned afte you do the sanctuary fortress energy? or does it just disappear as you did the sanctuary fortress energy return and the game just assumed that you have done likewise with agon, therefore not letting you return the energy because it's "already there". . . hmmm
One shall stand, one shall ball.
I'm sure it can, the enenergy is n't really in the main energy controller unless you actually go and return it. Though if you skip the energy controllers in Agon and Torvus I don't see why you'd want to go back.
well heres the deal, when you grab the dark energy, and then travel back to the light world temple in agon, the converter is open, showing the transporter.  BUT if you have the energy, the cutscene is triggered after getting so close to it.  funny thing is that also, the BSP for the energy converter is still there, it's like, solid air surroungint the light transporter, while you can see the parts of the transporter still open around you
Tell me if this trick has been found. If not, I will post a vid.

It's in gathering hall (lower torvus). For those who can't use that spiky thing to reach the morph ball connector faster. There is an easier method but it's a bit slower. You must ghetto jump to the connector ledge.

Note : you can only do this when you have gravity boost before grapple beam.
Dunno if it has been done before, but with a little wallcrawling, I grabbed the Power Bomb Tank in the room near Temple assembly site. I'm pretty sure you knew it is possible, but I have never seen anybody talking about it. It requieres floating though. (It might be possible without and useful in " SW-Speedruns")

First, just go in the Temple assembly site SW. From there, just go near the door leading to the room with the PBTank. Float up 5 or so minutes. (It might be possible to bomb jump up to there, skipping the floating part).

load the room with the PBTank.  Bomb jump up these walls to get to the skywalk( I hope it's called skywalk.....). Well, you might not need to do so. Just go somehow above the PBTank. Morph in a ball and bomb jump a bit there. You can grab the PBTank through the wall if you are on the right spot.

Now bomb jump up into the skywalk again and do the trick used in the Echo Visor skip to get back into the rooms. (The morph, fall down & unmorph at the same height as a door and touch it to make the room load)

It isn't that hard to do imo. And it doesn't require extra E-Tanks like the PBTank in Dark Agon.

*goes to Boosty which should be killable with the new PBtank aswell as the one in Torvus" Rolling Eyes

Edit: Boosty + Power Bomb = instant death^^
So you got into the SW in Temple assembly site without SA? And then killed boosty (boost guardian) with the PB from Dynamo works?
You dont need Sa for the Temple assembly site. You only need Bombs/Space Jump. It has been found some months before I think.
If Dynamo works is the room with the Power Bomb in Temple grounds, than yes.
I'll be back. Maybe...
Dynamo Works isn't though; it's the room with Spider Guardian. You're probably thinking of...

...I must remember this!..
*gives up and goes GF*

It's Dynamo Chamber, not Dynamo Works.
It's the one with the gates where you scan the computer and can't get back through without SJ or PBs. Now, go forth to Undertemple Shaft and skip Gravity!
already had gravity boost sadly.... But I don't see why it should be imposible. the three Sky Temple keys do appear and are all possible without using the 3rd gravity boost jump( the space jump works normal like you would be on land if you have the light suit. You still can't SA underwater though.) The Battleground key does appear, too. I haven't checked the other keys though.
I'll be back. Maybe...
How would you do it... You'd need... to activate the switches in Hydrodynamo Station in the order: low, catacombs, other (I hope that made sense) then go in the portal and go straight to the bottom of Undertemple Shaft, do some sort of jump to the key (DON'T GO INTO PB GUARDIAN'S ROOM AS YOU WON'T HAVE SPIDER BALL). Now we just need to work out whether it is actually possible to do what I just said; I don't see any major flaws unless you need to beat PB guardian to do something in which case you can come back later via Training Chamber from Sanctuary, though that would mean no drop in % from skipping Gravity.

Here's my idea : In the dark version of hydrodynamo station, there is a yellow door at the bottom of this room. Destroy this door to acceed to the room where the torvus key is. Grab the key, don't use the light portal and come back to the dark version of hydrodynamo. Now make your way to the room with a light portal.
Once in the light world, make your way to hydrodynamo station. Since the 3 switches in hydrodynamo haven't been activated, you can use the cannon to reach the room top.
You can now fight Chykka without grav.boost And go to the sanctuary fortress! :D
I'll be back. Maybe...
I don't think you can get into Undertemple Shaft without raising the pillar, though I may be wrong.

Can you get from Training Chamber to SF without Gravity Boost if you have PBs? That way you could probably get Screw Attack before Chykka, kill Chykka keeping the floaty jump (difficult but probably possible and probably, like the Blue Suit, unrecoverable after saving), and open up a whole slew of other SBing options. With the floaty jump and the Screw Attack, interesting things are bound to happen.
