I just discovered this trick.

After getting the Power Grip, go back to the room where you fell through the Pit Blocks. The moment you get out to the currently rising Chozo thing, start Infinite Bomb Jumping on either the right or left of the Chozo thing. When the Platforms become solid,  stop Infinite Bomb Jumping and land on the nearest Platform.

I used this by mistake, and saved a good 20-30 seconds.

check out ekarderifs emu-rape for a way faster version, exiting the room before the platforms appear.

Not necessary to check a cyborg run, it's in probably every other ZM speedrun too.

AFAIK, it's only in ekards run.

I think she means the ibj up in general... not just the whole getting to the door before the platforms appear aspect.
