I guess I thought that once you infused it with raw you couldn't do anything else to it.

I did get the ashed your talking about but I didn't know that it let you purchase shards.

Raw just means you get more base damage in return for no scaling. Infusions are separate from upgrades, just like DS2 and BB.

I thought you wanted to get that a while ago >_> It does full damage but bounces off shields and bosses, so it's not spammable. Definitely need the 12 faith.

Totally worth it. If you go to 15 faith you can also use Irina's Tears of Denial spell, which you might enjoy.

Bundles last only a few seconds but can be applied instantly mid-swing, even faster than Bloodborne resins.

Pretty sure many people encouraged you to explore that path before going through the swamp. Not me though, I'm a meanie. But seriously upping your resistance does nothing if you're constantly poisoned.

Getting hit by leech monsters covers you in leeches which constantly bleed you out until they disappear. Best way is to just equip a torch in your hand for a second, makes them disappear instantly. Torch is found in the shrine shop.

they have flaming swords, but sometimes the first hit makes a cloud of white powder.  Then I have smoke all around me and I sizzle for a minute.
