This is a very hard hack of super metroid
you must learn some basic moves like the speed ball or the wall jumping to advance.
In this hack are a lot of metroids and you can get the ice beam at the beginning
actually I'm doing a 100% complete of my hack and soon I'll do a speed run of it.

I guess this is differentiated from the usual lolspikes hacks by also being a lollava hack. You have some reasonable ideas here; I liked the pirate tower right after icebeam, for example. But I don't relish the idea of taking 60 damage because you decided that I shouldn't ever jump somewhere that wasn't precisely on-path. Also, the spikes right after the bombable wall in Crateria mainstreet are a cruel joke, since the screen doesn't scroll them into view until it's too late to avoid running into them.

I gave this a chance, but I don't think I'm going to finish it. Spikes are good sometimes, but this is pretty overboard. You should have called it "I hope you knew spikes/lava/metroids were there," that's what I've played has all boiled down to. It's not all bad, some rooms are using alternate palettes and some rooms have tile changes, but it's not significant enough to warrant the save state abuse I'll have to do to finish. Keep at it though.

Too much spikes. While "Escape from Metroid" had many metroids in the beginning, it was easier than that. Hopefully you will get a good level design for your next hack.

run with speed boosters, charge and do a super jump in the right side and you can go through there.

i didn't recorded it on my hypercam, sorry :( , but i'm not joking with this.

Tips for achieve that run:
1.- Don't kill Spore Spawn (do a mockball for the first Super Missile in brinstar)
2.- Don't go for the Spring Ball, it'll take a lot of time.
3.- Just take 10 Energy tanks.
4.- Reverse Missile door in Norfair, exit room for the grapple beam lava lake.

This hack suffers from so many bad design choices I'm not even going to bother and play anymore.

-Badly placed spikes.
-Badly designed energy range.
-Badly planed rooms.
-Half-Half hack.
