I can't! I don't go high enough.

The solution will probably be really obvious and make me look stupid, but this is making me a sad panda.

EDIT: Nevermind, there was a ledge where the morph ball could squeeze in enough to bomb the above block. It wasn't obvious and stupid after all! :D

EDIT NUMBER TWO: What exactly does

Evasion do? It seems to destroy Bomb blocks, but is that it?

I guess i found an item, but i can't get it (check screenshot)

Where are the Super Missiles and the Power Bomb?

About the Super Missiles, never mind. i found them, but i still can't find the Power Bomb, some little help could be useful :)

What exactly does super special itan do

You can avoid damage.

On another note, missiles are never really needed for progress in this hack, so do not expect them to get you anywhere ;]
So far, this hack has been a blast to play.  The environments look brilliant and it's quite fun to explore and find new areas all the time.

Took me about 15-20 minutes though to find the Morph Ball.  I only found it when I was going back through a room and just shooting everywhere until I saw something pop.

Current stats...

5 E-Tanks
12 Missiles
Morph Ball & Bombs
Grapple Beam
Charge Beam
Special Item
Evasion
...
HOLY CRAP!  ERIS IS OUT?  BEFORE AEGIS?

I'm going to have to play this, as I've been looking forward to it for awhile.  Although I kinda expected it to be released alongside Aegis, but oh well, I can wait.

I found the Space Jump, but i don't know how to get it.

You can't get Space Jump there.  It's more of an indication that you need Space Jump to activate the statue.  Space Jump is located in an entirely different part of the planet.
I hate asking, and I know this is about exploration, but I can't find freaking bombs.  I got missiles hours ago, and I'm just wandering the planet shooting aimlessly everywhere, looking for morph ball passages.  Yeah, it looks great, but man, if finding every item is going to be like this, I just don't know...

Small hint?

Bombs? You want them?

...

Whatever.

See that area with the arrow? Go to the top one, and take that passage to the bottom one. The Bombs are located in the... general area. Note: Easiest Torizo fight ever. For me.
I've got to say this is a very frustrating hack to play.  I'm not very far yet but the amount of damage enemies do makes me feel punished for trying to explore.  I've spent the first few hours getting lost and dodging 2 hit kill invulnerable enemies and running into multiple dead ends.  I finally found things to kill them with but I keep running into situations where I've run out of ammo and there isn't a good way to refill (part of that is not wanting to play carefully though).  It looks great, but I wasn't a fan of early item placement and water.

I think we're gonna need a map :)
[BANNED]
Yes, a map would be useful....  Unfortunately, DMantra won't be able to do that right now but maybe someone else can volunteer??  Perhaps one of the testers??  But then again, maybe that would be revealing too much right now due to how new this hack is.  The testers and map maker can discuss this.

Anyway, I have two questions, one for me and one for someone who can't log in at the forums here:

The question for me is this: I seem to be stuck and I'm not quite sure if I'm even in the right area.  The only item pick up I got was the morph ball and I made it to (probably) the first save point.  It's under water with some mean crabs.  To the left of that room is a room that has that shell that goes crazy if you shoot a mini turtle enemy, the one you can use as a moving platform if you're careful.  To the right, in the same room, there's balloon enemies that go up and down.  Not sure what to do from here....

The question for the one who can't log in:  "I'm in. Current status Morph ball, bombs, missiles(14), E-tanks(3), Grapple, Charge, Secret Item. Kinda stuck right now"

Help for both of us would be appreciated, thanks.

If you haven't got missiles yet, go back and explore the room to the right of the room you found morph ball in.

Guy Who Can't Log In:
You've got charge... go explore the area where you found your first missile pack.
So, I wasn't gonna let a tiny little music glitch get in my way; I directed to the crashing room, and set music from "none/mute" to "none/no change"

What I have to say about this hack... well...
Not even redesign left me this speechless.

Here's a patch of the fixed vers, too, incase anyone else wants to beat the game :X
. . .
I agree the difficulty is a bit high, but I haven't had this much fun in a while!

So many areas, riddled with puzzles and tough enemies! So much fun! :D

Not to mention EVERY boss I've fought so far has been epic as hell!

Early on, its best to try and stay away from enemies than try and fight them.  Dodging enemies is very important in this hack.

On a side note, I'm alittle stuck myself, but hopefully I can figure out what to do soon. ^_^;

edit: nice job Bloodsonic! :D

Thanks, this is from the same one who can't log in:

"Update Current status: Morph ball, bombs, missiles(30), E-tanks(6), Grapple, Charge, Secret Item, Super Missiles(12) Kinda stuck right now ...again :(

This hack wasn't so easy as I thought it should be....most because of all enemies that almost kill you instantly"

Edit:

"PS. I found one statue that Opium mentioned in the first page

edit2: Forgot that I picked up Spazer "
I'm working on a map right now, but it's not done yet and I won't release it before DM give it a go.
My layout is ready. I now have to play the game and locate all the doors.
With a map I know where the items are but it doesn't tell me what is the next goal and how to reach it.

I'm liking the hack so far, but the enemies need to be toned down. Most of them take off an energy tank of health at the beginning of the game, and Botwoon was the most annoying boss I've ever had the pleasure to face in any Metroid hack I've played.
Burrrp!
Dude this hack is extremely epic, i can't help but stare at each and every room, difficulty is tough but it just makes finding stuff that much better!
i just got the speed booster and everything is hidden so well!!!

I'll withhold specific feedback for now, but I will say that this is one hell of a hack.
Finally found speed booster.  I'm gonna hang this up for the night.  Exploration is great but I;m constantly reloading save states because I'm dying from only a couple enemy hits which makes the exploration SOOOOO SLOOOOOW.
I'm a bit stuck at the moment, most of the way through the game.

Details:
I've got

Morph ball
Bombs
Super Missiles
Power Bombs
Evade
High Jump
Space Jump
Speed Booster
Charge Beam
Ice Beam
Spazer
3 artifacts

Last item was space jump.  I think I need spring ball next; I'm also missing wave, but it doesn't appear that would open anything up.  Any tips?  Most of the map is explored, but theres a gaping hole just to the right of the landing pad that I can't figure out how to get to.

Spring ball is close to
the Space Jump, in a snow region called Dranaphen (wonder where he got that inspiration roflkek). In the Exterior Sand Falls, a singlelane sand fall holds a secret. Not only that, but the room features green lightposts with red lights?

Kinda sucks that DM doesn't have internet access, I hold all the maps (I believe the other beta testers do aswell), even regionname maps, but he asked me not to show them to anyone. It would be great to know when he thinks it's time to put them up for public access. Also, it would be great to know when I can show the one Sequence Break this game sponsors (thus far o.o!)
Yeah, I have the map and such too.  Believe he wanted to have people a chance to explore before everything was laid out for them.  On that, I'll have to agree with him.

Eris is more about exploring than most hacks.  Even people who are having an "impossible" time with it are starting to post ending times and comment on what they thought about it after they finished it.  As soon as there's a map, it'll no longer be about exploration.  It'll be a step-by-step process of what you "should" do next.  Please, don't turn Eris into Fusion laugh new

For some reason I have the planet map, even though I didn't beta test... lol XD

I'm trying not to look at it in my stuckness though ^_^
