Danidub: er...I don't think that's quite right. I mean, yes, that's the right general direction, but it's not really the path you'd take from the landmark you provided, since you have to go back in the other direction before you get to Spazer.
Thanks Derakon and danidub. I just got it though it is impossible to get with the high jump boots on. Yeah I spent like 5 mins trying to make that one jump with them on.
Let me quess: The file size of the IPS patch is only ~50% of what it's supposed to be (640 Kb). Just keep redownloading the patch. I did it about 5 times, and just when i was going to give up: success . So, just keep redownloading the patch.
There's one after the Ninja Pirates, which you can kill with the charge beam, albeit slowly. There's another in the room with the mochtroids a few rooms back from where you are right now. A shotblock will let you get back to the start of that room so you can run it as many times as you need to.
And if Zhs2 didn't help you then: Super Metroid (JU) [!].smc
Incorrect. The [!] marks an unheadered rom. [H] would be used to denote having a header.
Also, using PAL roms is quite useless with the way SMILE works nowadays.
incorrect.
you should really read this. the only [H] is lowercase([h]) and stands for a hacked rom. there would be no reason to denote a header. they're worthless and don't in any way belong as part of the goodset. if you're going to be smug like that, have the right info. oh, and by the way, the [!] marks a good/clean rom dump, headered or not.
I think you can actually have four or five E-Tanks before Spore Spawn, I will have to check again and I believe it requires a fairly odd and long path, but the extra insurance is nice.
Is it possible to fight Spore Spawn with any E-tanks? Fighting that guy with only 99 energy is TOUGH.
\
I had three. It should be easy if you got thate "one" item that helps in dodging.(even with 99 health) But i would not advise this as the next few rooms may prove quite difficult.
Phantoon is pathetic really. Stay crouched in the corner next to the door, angle your cannon, and charge. Not much to it. If you don't have Wave simply jump and shoot when he appears, his flames don't damage that much.
It sounds like Gaius is using fewer upgrades than are strictly necessary, in which case Phantoon can really hurt you badly. Gaius: have you killed Draygon yet?
He's waiting in the Norfair area, but you'll need springball and wave beam to reach him.
Alternatively, just remember that Evasion + Space Jump == infinite invincible flying.
