With the recent release of MPT on the Wii, It raises a question. Should us as fans include MPH in the prime series, or not. With 3 games on one disk, it would probably be imposssible to squeeze hunters into the disk and call it "Metroid Prime Quadrilogy" not without glitches and problems.

Super Secret Area - Dead Ahead!
My first response would be: Does it matter?  If you want to, do so, and if you don't, don't.

Outside of that, I'd say: Does it matter?  If you want to, do so, and if you don't, don't.

It may sound harsh, but I just never understand the arguments that arise surrounding where things fit in, or what they meant by the story, or where it is in the timeline, or is the story canon.  Does it really matter?  It's a game.  Play it.
who cares?
it would have easily fit. but you can't play ds games on a tv.
The Overlord of All Acorns.
hunters is a spinoff and has nothing to do with the other Prime games.  it only uses the name as an advertising tool.

nope.
Club 27 Goals
Is it a prime game? Yeah sure. Should it be grouped with the other primes in something like a box set? No cause it really doesn't have anything to do with them.
It doesn't help that it is a pretty bad game anyway.

And has no metroids ;(

nor does it have phazon :(

Or Space Pirates
It has a Space Pirate in the intro cutscene. Also, Weavel is a space pirate.

Metroid the original did fine without any actual space pirates and so did Metroid II. But you are talking about Primes...

It does have a Metroid-esque creature called a Quatroid, but that doesn't count.
Also, MPH has very N64-esque graphics. Sometimes as a joke I call hunters "the Metroid 64 that never was" lol

Maybe its because the DS has N64-esqque graphics? And by maybe, I mean it does.
But Sylux's ship is at the end of Prime3 100% ending...
Not impossible
just highly unlikely
Something that MIGHT be Sylux's ship is at the end of MP3's 100% ending. That will likely never be followed up on anyway.

It hardly matters in any case.
Yeah. Retro seemed to have forgotten that they were going to end the MP trilogy with 3 and continued to add a cliff hanger to the bonus ending like they normally do.
