Well...since I've never touched RoS or Super, I'll rank the ones I've played:

1. Prime
2. ZM
3. Fusion
4. Metroid

If I had played the others, I'd say Super would take number 2, and RoS maybe...5.

Fusion was the one that started it all for me and prime is probably gonna beat it if I ever get it. The reason Super is ranked so low is cause of the controls.

I've played all the Metroid games... needless to say, I've beatin them all. So, I can give my fully opinion, yay me. :)

Why is Prime last? I just rather stick with the good old 2D Metroids. I do like Prime, I think its a awsome game, it just doesn't beat the classics :).

Zero Mission just doesn't appeal to me very much. The controls and movements are so different than usual.

The reason Metroid 2 is high is because it was the first metroid I ever played and I loved it. I never played Super until recently and since it was after Prime and Fusion, it seemed sort of bleh. I'm pretty sure if I played all of them again, I might have a different opinion. (I haven't played M2 since before GB Pocket was invented)

Err... they're freakin IDENTICAL to Fusion, except for the Super Missles. The only other thing that's really different is the un-nerfed wall jump.
