Whee, just did a faster variant of the SA-X trick, though this will only help in 100% runs. During the downtime between charges, you can Screw Attack her twice and thus cutting down on the shots necessary. http://www.metroid2002.com/ekarderif/sa-x.avi

Wow, it's hard enough just to do that standing still using a GB. I end up having to use my left forefinger to hit the B button because it's really hard to time using one hand.

I can't BELIEVE no one's thought of this before. Incredible. This could knock thirty seconds, maybe a whole minute off a run.

[EDIT: Okay, so that's by my standards of a quick SA-X fight. Still, this is a lot of seconds saved.]

Yeah, but as Emu said, it really only works with 100%. With 1% and any%, you'll only be able to screw attack about 2 or 3 times.

I also noticed the screw attack/frozen SA-X dealie, but I never thought about implementing it. I was just like "Cool, it doesn't move!" Then I forgot about it.
