This forum is going to be used solely for completed hacks and fan games. If you have completed a hack or game, you should post it here. Please indicate the game hacked or fangame OS, like so:

-[SM]Super Metroid Redesign
-[MZM]Neon City
-[WinXP]Metroid 2 Remake

You may also discuss completed hacks here and use a hack's thread for help-related discussion or conversation. Any other discussion should go in the general board, where you may talk about generic game concepts, share ideas for games, talk about projects in development or discuss anything socially related to the hacking and fangame community.

The mods will be moving threads that discuss and link to completed games from the general forum to this one as time permits. Please be patient.

edit: the symbols legend for labeling hacks can be found here.

if your hack is a minihack, denote such with [mini] in your topic title after the hack's name. if it's a one-room hack, use [OR].

also, if your hack or fangame has multiple difficulties, please note the non-normal difficulties at the end of your topic title like so:

[E] - if it has an easy difficulty in addition to normal
[H] - if it has a hard difficulty in addition to normal
[E H] - if it has both an easy hard difficulties in addition to normal

you get the idea. let's try to keep this forum really organized so new members have little difficulty finding good hacks/fan games to play!

edit: if you find that one of the mods labeled your hack incorrectly, feel free to set us straight. :P
Yo.
While not entirely complete, we do have our own hack listing pages, which can be found here. As opposed to the threads for hacks help found here, it stands to provide a simple listing (as well as screenshots and direct links) to a few of the hacks in question...
About this.

Quote from arkarian:
[WinXP] - fan game is for Windows XP
[WinVis] - fan game is for Windows Vista

They both work in either Windows, as I can run Windows XP fan games on my Windows Vista. So, instead of calling it separate, it might be good idea to just call it [Win] for Windows.
red chamber dream
who knows with microsoft though. someone might make a game that will only work on vista. think everyone knows that most stuff that runs on xp also runs on vista.
¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Perhaps [Win32] and [Win64] would be better than XP/Vista, since that's (afaik) what actually makes the difference.
red chamber dream
yeah you're probably right. changed.
Vista's not necessarily a 64bit OS. There's both a 32 as well as a 64 version of Vista.
red chamber dream
right, that's why we're doing it by architecture not version.
Time bomb set get out fast!
Edited to reflect the new board name.  It's a slightly corny idea of mine with two meanings: these hacks are currently available (like movies that are "Now Playing"), and people who are now playing them can discuss them here.
