I've been messing with this a lot lately and I can't manage to find how Kejardon made that one stream of codes to follow Samus around in SM. I've found a lot of other things though, such as infinite missles and energy. There are a few things I'd like to know with the codes themselves.

When you look at codes on the internet compared to the codes you find here, why are they so much different but do generally the same thing? Such as a lot of the codes starting with 7(0-E) in the RAM search but other codes start with C(0-E) that do the same thing. Why are these "C" codes available and how are they created?

I've found how to make your beam just fly across the screen forever or make your missles shoot a lot quicker, but that's about all. I haven't found anything very miraculous. I've found a bunch of codes for a game called The 7th Saga lately, but I can't manage to find a code to walk through walls. I found a code that changes based on if you walk into a wall or not, changed that and it will just freeze or make my player disappear. I've altered another code along side that one but the game goes haywire. Why is this?

As far as Kej's code following you, the only thing I can think of is he found a way to make the camera be whatever value Samus is at all times, which I don't understand how that's possible.
Thread title:
Super Secret Area - Dead Ahead!
Many of the codes vary simply because of the device they were intended for, such as Game Genie, Pro Action Replay (PAR), or Game Shark, etc.  They do the same thing, but were entered in a different format.

As for finding them, there's no hard and fast rule.  Many of the simpler codes, such as lives, are easy to find with any device.  Any cheats relating to a status of something, such as being able to walk through walls is generally much harder.

And may I ask which stream of codes you're referring to when you mention Kejardon?
I don't know really. I know that the camera follows you around though. There are like 6 codes IIRC.
Super Secret Area - Dead Ahead!
Any idea where you saw it mentioned?
NameSpoofer gave it to me a few years ago. My computer's been wiped since or I lost the cheats or some shit.
by way of a partial answer, kejardon is a ninja who has been hacking on the game for years and probably knows SM's code better than he knows his own house.
Gotcha lol Hopefully he can provide the answer.
I like Big Butts and I can not lie
Here's a nice walk through walls code: 948F4960
And here's the scrolling code:

80A95780
80A98580

Codes that start 7E and 7F are codes that modify RAM, 70 to 7D modify SRAM, and 80 to FF modify ROM.  Both the codes I gave modify the game code itself (stored in the ROM), so you won't be able to find them with the memory search

How do you find them than? I'd like to know simply to find my own codes out for other games perhaps. Thanks btw.
