Metroid: Other M should be released in March 25, 2010. It should be in third person perspective. The time line should take place between super metroid and metroid fusion, but no one knows for sure. For more information, click the link here
The release date, last I knew, was fan speculation based on the end of the E3 trailer. All we truly know is that it's planned for next year at this point. And yes, as far as I know the game is supposed to be between Super and Fusion based on what the developers mentioned.

Other than that we have nothing else to get information from besides the E3 trailer, as Nintendo hasn't released anything else about the game since then.
Waiting Other M =D
March 25 is my birthday!
Metroid Other M... This will be my birthday present! LOL
you might be disappointed, so don't get your hopes up.
red chamber dream
because of the date or because of the quality of the game? :P
Waiting Other M =D
uuh... quality :B
I'm pretty sure he meant the date.  That whole 3/25 thing is just a flimsy theory.

(The word of the day is 'flimsy'.  That's right.  Say it with me: 'fffliiiimsyyy'.  Thank you.)

LOL
my umbrella goes directly to Bankai
we're almost in 2010 and nothing has been updated about the game.
it looks like a 2nd half 2010 game so far imo.
once GameFAQs, now Twitch
Mind, though the game is set between Super and Fusion (making it "Metroid 3.5"), the events it covers will likely extend to before the first game(s).

and that is why numbering games is bad...
you can never fill a plothole without making a spin-off of sorts...
