Thread title:
I noticed this on the Temple of Bryyo SW page:

Quote:
You can access this secret world once you have ship grapple.

Ship missiles, not ship grapple. :P

EDIT: Early Weapons Cache missile expansion page says at the top (and in the title) "expansions" instead of "expansion"
everybody knows it's true
They all work for me.

fixed, and the second one is because it's the name of the section.

oh, heh, should've noticed that. Embarassed

Another minor thing - the walkway in Aurora Chamber lowers when you put in the energy cells, not when you defeat the Hatcher.

EDIT: The 2bsj video is pretty much a 1bsj video, as he didn't hit the second bomb - he only hit the first bomb and got the same amount of height as in the 1bsj video.

EDIT 2: Looked through all the pages, and other than what I've already mentioned, everything looks fine.
not evil,just hungry
Looks pretty good.  A page on the Skyway Access SW would be nice.

Are you not putting up any speed tricks?
maybe next time.
First time I tried a video Netscape completely crashed on me. Went back and viewed all five Hazard Shield videos and didn't have a problem.

The only thing I can think of that is missing is credit for the people who discovered the tricks, unless there's a reason to leave that out?

I got random crashes every so often with firefox. It's less of an issue now since we never installed quicktime on this computer.
unsure who found what for most of the stuff.. some of the credits are also on the wiki and i was thinking maybe we should just put them there. i don't know.

would like to add speed tricks but it was too much for launch. it's probably going to be a very gradual thing. it's going to be hard just to sort through everything.

skyway access sw was supposed to make it but i suck too much/the snake hates me. hopefully will make it next time along with the docking hub alpha/gel refinery missiles, 2 round aurora strat.

i also know the berserker lord can be beaten in 1 round but wasn't sure if that warranted an entry for boss tricks. seems pretty obvious, but it's still "winning in less rounds" and it does say on the boss tricks page that's the kinda stuff that goes there. so i'm putting it on the list i think.. going to try to sleep now

..It can? Didn't know that. :P

I don't get why the Aurora Chamber Energy Cell skips are in the "Other" section. Do Energy Cells not count toward percent or something?
I noticed that while surfing with a different site style (Minimalist Dark):

But they do. I've left the 3rd Energy Cell for the one on the Valhalla, which is the last item I pickup before the end, and have had only 21%. I usually have 20% before fighting Omega Ridley and getting the Hyper Grapple.

I can help a little with the Hazard Shield in any rate. I just checked through the SB/Speed Trick topic and this is what I could determine from it. I'm pretty certain that this is correct, but I still have this feeling that I missed something:

(Anyone who wants to double check me, go ahead.)

Command Courtyard -
Me: Inspired by kip finding the standable door on the second level (Funny... just realized it was about ONE hour after he mentioned this that I found the skip)

Skyway Access -
BlueGlass: Moving to the left of the room and not SAing into it to start the first cutscene, using Z to try and lower damage taken from cutscenes
kip: Suggested using the crates to refill health

Mine Lift -
Me: (Although pretty obvious)
Not sure who figured out the better order of the spinners though, because I always did it randomly

Phazon Harvesting -
Me: Skip the first two bridges with the SA/terminal fall, listening to kip and using a terminal fall to get up the 4th bridge
kip: Idea for using terminal falls to get up the room
Not sure who found the small corner of protection before the 4th bridge though

Transit Station Leviathan -
Me: (Although pretty obvious)

And Paraxade was there with the three of us testing things out and giving suggestions along the way, so would that count?

And while I was browsing the pages, I noticed that it looks like Paraxade found the Energy Cell Skip on the Valhalla, and el padrino discovered the one turret Generator trick (Although kip confirmed the door issue with making the bomb icon appear it looks like).

it used to be that the videos would just be one on top of the other in that style, but the problem is that people who write descriptions like to say "top left video" or whatever and that ruins that, so i had to force the videos into that position even if it breaks the style (which is much older than the other problem). thanks for reporting though.

That's what I thought. I'm wondering why the skips aren't in a section entitled "Skipping Energy Cells" or something like that.
Anywhere, everywhere
I think something about skipping the second berserker lord should be added.
I think this should have an energy cell skip section.
It should also include the skip of the cell on the space pirate homeworld in the metroid processing room.

That one's optional to begin with. It only releases the Metroids, which gives you a missile expansion.

Oh, so how do you go through the room? Oh, yeah when you get it the elevator to the second floor turns on. So no it isn't optional without SB's

Really? I thought it unlocked the elevator once you beat the pirates.

Um... How should I put this..... Sorry.. but.. no.
There are 2 elevators in the room. Once you beat the pirates, it unlocks the elevator that lets you down to where the E-cell is. When you take the e-cell, the metroids come out of their containment tanks. Once you beat the metroids, the little morphball elevator is activated which lets you to the 2nd floor.
