I just finished the game for the first time. I got 2:42:47 on easy with 47%. I am now working on another run thrue.

2+ minutes.... And I aimed for <2 hours... Hot damn ;) Nice time there Aj though! Gotta download a better route to follow :( I get lost so easily when I go to Ridley first :D

I actually didn't expect that good... I didn't really try to optimize, more for fun... and I didn't skip the acid worm or pull off the escape speedball shortcut. Was my first game w/o Screw Attack, too.

Now, just the final two... the 100% speed runs of DEATH! Anybody have any tips?

Currently working on a faster run...only thing holding me up is wall jumping. Not from walls on the left mind you, I just can't figure out for the life of me why wall jumping from walls on the right seems exponentially harder  Question

Nope. I'm right handed. I'm playin' it on my Gamecube, so I blame Nintendo's obsession with analog sticks, and the fact that their crosspad is smaller than my thumb  Crying or Very sad

This was just a practice run of an any% hard... would anyone know whether this is good or not? I did do the Kraid first HBJ trick too. I also know it could be WAY better.

You beat my any% run on medium by about a minute, and I used the trick as well. Pretty good for a first run I'd say.

I just finished my 2nd run thrue ended up with 1:44:12 with 33%. Now I am going back to do some more fusion runs. or I might just do a few more.

I have a question: I'm doing a 100% normal <2:00, and am right now at the save point after getting my full powered suit. 0:58 on the clock, with all of the tanks possible, except the missile in brinstar in the room to the left of the hive room. Can I make it?

I've never done one I'm no expert but I think you can pull it off. I will be trying one of those soon that will be my 5 run thrue the game I am working on my 3 play thrue: i have done one for  every difficulty currently on hard.

Yeah, but chozodia's pretty big. I guess I'll find out tomorrow, no sense worrying about it. Now I've got to see Inuyasha and wolf's rain... fun.

But anyone else have any ideas? Remember, 0:58 so far, just got powered suit, everything possible except missile tank in brinstar. Can I make it?

I just packed on the extra 22 minutes to my 2nd run to get another ending picture. and I am restarting my hard run ( I don't know why but to late now.) I have a question slash request.  list the times and percentages I need for all the pictures. thanks. so now I have 3 pictures and I hear thier's 8.

Ahh, the sweet smell of a complete rape of Zebes's natural resources, all under 2 hours. Now to do it on hard!
