Well for the etank, the only reason I think it's faster to get it later is because you'll almost definitely have to go over to that chozo statue to refill your powerbombs anyway, and if you get the etank you won't have to fill up your energy.

In the case of Graveworm not having a recording device, I think GC04 should try to beat his 29:54 and get 28:xx.

Gee, I really need to work on SS. I think my Normal 100% SS is about 1:30. Anyway, I think after you get sub-hour, you should go for sub 55 :)

Heh, in terms of what's humanly possible...under 55 minutes ain't gonna happen. I've timed it out extensively - the lowest you're gonna see is low 55s IF luck is completely on their side and they make no mistakes...even minor ones.

With some minor mistakes and NO big ones sub 56 is possible.

Man. Why do I even run this game. Seriously, the past like 2 weeks of playing have been nothing but me screwing up the same exact tricks over and over again. I seriously think that right now, I am furious enough that I could kill like a million people with my teeth and not even think twice about it. Argh. Satan had something to do with the making of this game, no doubt.

have no fear, I just spent four straight days killing metroids. and last week, I killed ridley about a hundred times. I devised insane ways to kill ridley no one even wants to know about.

I am still working on my 100% hard run, but I haven't managed to get past segment 3 yet. The main problem is that I start the segment with only 7 missiles, whereas AJ starts with 16 missiles. I need lots of missiles for the acid worm, so I have to stop and kill those little eternally spawning bugs, and that costs me time. I need to get 11:13 to not lose any time on this segment, but the best I have gotten is 11:21. I'll keep working on it.
