I have no idea, but it seems like over half the new topics being made in the past few weeks have been polls; some of them have been rather ridiculous, but not all of them.
I guess what bugs me about polls is that, while they do get some replies, they don't nearly generate the kind of discussion that you would get from just posting the question. Just choosing an option from a set of choices limits thought. I guess I'm more of an essay question guy than a multiple choice, though.
Funny how you never minded until it was your topic. <_<
Seriously, tho, I feel that the best thing to do is just let it be... generally, if there's anything to say on the original topic then the topic doesn't stay off topic very long... however, I don't think many people are interested in this topic.

I care about my topics...........(no offence)unlike you...........
Well, this will sound harsh, but do you honestly care about how many people that has GBA, or handheld systems, or their first special run time/%/difficulty/guide used, or what missile expansion people think is easier to get?
