Keep in mind that it's better to fall too early, than to fall too late. If you fall too early, you might still be blown to the next series of blocks. If you fall too late, you'll be blown into the ceiling and fall into the acid. Once you get the hang of it, it won't be all that hard. I personally only have a hard time with the final jump nowadays.
