Ive recently purchased this game for my Gamecube player and well into it realized this is pretty cool... untill i reached the plant boss after the spider thing in the silo.

Is there no possible way to escape those silly ass plants he has around him? I managed to beat him after about 50 tries cuz every time those 2 stupid flowers would shoot me into his gay plants. Then suddenly i would see that he would shoot plasma at me and knock me into one of them again.  Just wondering im sure theres gotta be a way to escape those things cuz their stupid.

AS for Nightmare, what is up with him? I know he has gravity control and junk but omfg he was annoying lol. I died to him 4 times cuz he just wouldnt die. I also died to his core-x too i know thats sad.. but i managed to kill him at 32 hp left and then his corex flew into me as i was trying to grab some life back ><

Im a total noob at this game now as i havent played metroid 3 (snes) in ages. Any suggestions for me? lol

Anybody have the Holy Spot video for the Plant Boss? I deleted it accidentally without backing it up on my last reformat. :P

As for Nightmare, it's better if you keep pummeling with Charge Beams and missiles alternatvely (or at least, it looks that way to me >_>). When you see he's coming towards ya, try to escape away as far as you can from it, and it'll try to give chase. Go back to your previous post, smack him s'more, and he'll go after you again. Rinse and repeat.

For Nettori: (Plant thing) Always have a power bomb layed, and jump when he shoots lower plasmas, and duck when he shoots high.
Nightmare: One hell of a tough guy, I still have problems with this guy in my 1% runs. Just spacejump around where he isn't, and move when he comes for you. Grab onto the ladder when he stops, and pump him full of missiles.

My strategy for plant boss(netorri): go as far to the left of the middle platform as you can, then kneel, and lay a power bomb. Shoot 3 charge shots and 1 missile, then lay another power bomb. Repeat until plasma phase. In the plasma phase, jump and duck to dodge the beams, and hit it with missiles until they run out, then kill it with charge shots. Kill core-x.

I unfortunetly don't have a strategy for nightmare :(

Yea i got the nightmare missle in the face tactic down pretty well. However its just his floating arms and stuff in his first form where you shoot that silly orb thing where his crouch would be. I try to use that charge beam then spin dash into his arms, i dont take damage but he moves around alot and usually after i shoot him i take like 60 dmg from his body and arms and i usually end up going into his face form with like 2 energy tanks left. =(

So im assuming no way to escape his silly plant things if you fall in? cuz omfg ive fallen in so many times, since im on a gamecube controller if i hit diagonal my jumps end and samus just starts to fall so usually i fuck up jumps and stuff really bad and end up falling into his flowers of doom.

Just let them eat on you for a while and then jump out of the flowers?

Try holding the a button during your jump. Trust me you'll hang the ledge.

Thats the thing you cant jump out of them! Theres no way! i powerbombed, tried bomb jumping, scerw attacking out, i get no height and its in water too, the flower has no ledge and missles bounce out of off it. Nothing hurts it or makes it stop, Ice missles do shit and you cant jump out of the bloody flowers!  If you can show me a vid cuz seriously i dont believe you can its rigged i tell you RIGGED!!!

How can you screw attack in that fight? Also, try jumping onto the platform with Netorri. The reason you can do this is because Netorri is a lot smaller then he appears. After you get him into his plasma phase, that is how big he really is. After you do this, you can jump back onto the main platform.[/b]

And what were they attempting with all the stupid metroids just to breed them for the hell of it? World Domination? Cuz that one metroid was really grown up in one of the test tubes.

That's not EXACTLY how I do it. You got the edge of the platform part right, but I always have a power bomb layed, and i'm shooting 3 charge shots and 1 missile while the power bomb is exploding, then I lay another power bomb. Can you do that?
