Percentages, Collections and Scans.

I beat the game at 72% and went back to do some exploring. I tried collecting whatever I could and scanning what I missed. I managed one UA Expansion and a lot of scans. I saved and quit. Looking at my score I boosted to 91%; this leads me to think that scans add to the total percentage, unlike the other Prime games, so a 100% run would require scanning.

Also, does anyone have the guide? If so, could someone put up a scannables list and collection list that the guide probably has? I know one will be up on GameFaqs sometime, but I'm stumpted as to where the others are.

I do: The back page lists the entire scanning collection, I'll try and scan it in a bit later for us. But, I do believe you're right about the scans adding to the percentage, since if I remember correctly there are only 55-60 items in the game, counting the 24 Artifacts needed to access the boss battles.

If I recall, there are roughly 7 E-Tanks, 10 Missiles, and 13 UAs in the game. So, with the 24 Artifacts that would only get us to 54% I only got 62% of the items in the game, and I managed to collect most of the expansions on my way through. Only got about 45% of the scans, so it would make sense that they add to the total percentage.

Definitely need to investigate more, since I do remember seeing in the guide that collecting all 100% of the scans gives you a new symbol on your Hunter's License.

According to the guide, there seems to be the 7 E-Tanks, 9 Missiles, and 13 UA Expansions, so that's 29% right there. And then there's the 6% for the weapons, and another 24% for the Alimbic Artifacts. That's 59% altogether if that's how things are calculated for the percentage.

Don't think so, but I'd scan one just in case.

I'm going through the game for a fourth time right now and I'm improving on the E-Tank, UA, Missile Expansion list. I'm added the rooms they're in during each visit.

Yeah uh, the list mentions the shield key, it looks to be one of the "fo' reelz" pickups.

Jeeze, I was scanning crap I didn't think mattered and it was added to my logbook. She's like "Holy crap, a rock! LOG IT DAMNIT!"
