Paraxade, I dun remember anything about needing to jump from a metroid. In one of my videos I have using a metroid to scan dash to the last ledge.

Ultimately he did end up doing the dash, I think. The problem was that the metroids were uncooperative for a good while iirc.

He found out that the metroids that normally activate when you turn off the force field do nothing when you reload the room, so he used the dash from those
