Instead of doing the secret message trick, jump up and shoot the second to last spike ball diagonally without the diffusion missiles, if you shoot correctly, the ball will freeze, allowing you to get to the navigation room without needing major skills.

I read about it in a topic and someone said it took "over 200 missiles to successfully do this trick" but it took me two missiles to do so.

Technically it only requires one missile. But congrats on doing it quicker than someone that probably hasn't been here in years. O_o And thanks for teaching us this oh so elusive secret.
