If you're good enough, you can get through that part of the Underworld without
the springball/Gravity suit. But it can be pretty difficult without Gravity, especially in the lavarise room. Unless you're already savestated down there and don't want to backtrack, I'd suggest heading for Tetra like EP suggested. There's a new area you can reach with the high jump boots in the upper part of Tetra that you've been through before.

Good got it, thanks! I didn't remembered THAT place, anyway, so gravity's next you say? On to it right now!
i think i skipped stuff.. again.

im at
sky thingy, with all beams but plasma, all boots but spring ball, varia suit, p.bomb, s.missile and missile, got theg rapple and x ray...

did i miss something? xd

Yes. Did you get the
Screw Attack? Its near the beginning of the Sky Temple. in a little morph ball maze. Then you can use the screw attack to kill certain enemies back in HC to open certain metal doors leading to Plasma. Then you should be able to progress in the Sky Temple. Gravity's back down in Tetra if you want it - so is the spring ball. The Gravity suit sort of requires the spring ball to get easily, but you can get it without the spring ball.
ive been doing the most incredible crap without alot of stuff? ;O;

god i feel... good xd
I'm stuck...again, I'm in the:
pink pipes room after Botwoon and I can't figure out what to do, I've only manage to break a SM block but I can't morph into it anyway and my x-ray doesn't show anything else interesting...
If its after breaking the tube, while it is possible to get through there (I wouldn't be too good at describing it though), you don't need to go that way. It'll just loop back to where you got the missiles. You can go back down through the lower door in the tube room. There's something very close to that exit that'll take you to another key item.
Ok got the GS.... but damn am I missing some beams?

Cause now I only have charge and Ice... and damn it took long even with the trick to beat:
Golden Torizo
Oh, you missed the spazer? It's
Over in Eastern Dark Gardens near the silver chozo statue.
clear time: 2:57

item collection rate: 18%.

15 is low%, but I don't feel like going through another low% run to rid myseld of three missile tanks.  Unless space jump is skippable with a stutter start super short charge, in which case low% would be 14%

Now going to continue from my saved game and try for 100%

WHAT! It was right there!.... Damn I feel stupid... anyway, got it. Going back to tackle those things I did without the suit...REVENGE!

Edit: Maybe not.... do I my next key item is somewhere after the:
underworld fast rising acid room?
Yep, its after that place in the Underworld. It's a tiny bit hard to find down there but there's a blockade that basically tells you you should have it before you exit that segment of the Underworld.

Okay... I'm after that room, the one with the red ki-hunter... and there's not a single hole I can find to progress... I know I ask a lot but is it normal I only found a pb expansion and that my x-ray doesn't find anything else?
Wait, the room directly after the lavarise? In the upper right of that room there should be a door that will lead you to another room to the right. That one has a secret passage in it in a semiobvious location if you step on the right place on the ground.

....Gosh I feel stupid everytime you give me the hint, my secret passage hunting skills aren't as sharp as they used to be... Anyway, thanks for all the help so far extra_smug .
Damn, I still can't find Botwoon. I fastforwarded my playthrough until the Glass Tube, and searched everything in this area to find him, wthout success. You, Telomeres, said he guards the Spring Ball, but you can just get it to the left of the tube. I only saw 2 grey doors in this area (one even being completely blocked by a unbreakable wall in front of it), but I was never able to unlock them. Is he perhaps behind one of this doors? And if so, how the heck can I get there?

Regarding a low% run, Space Jump is skippable, and so is Draygon as well. The latter will cause some problems though, as you get stuck in the Statue room forever, so you have to fight him anyway, even when you skip it.

However in order to skip Space Jump you have to perform a complicated double demorph shot during IBJ when passing the Supers barrier. This is very unlikely to be possible without slowdowns and savestates, so I'm not sure if it's necessary to fix that.

Here is a demonstration of the Draygon skip recorded on Snes9x 1.43+ v9, in case you wonder how it's done.

You know the 2nd E-Tank you get in your run?  The one you can get a couple rooms before you get the bombs?  There's a PB door in the lower left part of the room.  Take that and you should be able to get to Botwoon with no trouble.
Yeah, as Anima said,
you have to go around to the upper part of Tetra Ruins in the tech room with a tiny bit of water at the bottom and then enter a power bomb door at the bottom of said room to fight Botwoon. Where you were searching was the place you'd end up after beating him.

Yeah, one of my playtesters said it was probably possible to do using the technique you just described but as you noted, he also said that it requires insane precision. I wonder - if I moved the little platform that sticks out on the left side of the wall down one block, would it be impossible to perform this sequence break? If not, how many do you think I'd have to move it down? As you said though, I'm not sure it's necessary to fix, since no one who's not absolutely trying to sequence break past there and push the game to its limit will attempt it. It's more of an easter egg than anything, despite the statue room problem.
how do i play that file?
Thanks for the hints. I finally found him. :)
Once again nice room change that requires to find the key position in order to beat him at low conditions.

Hmmm, did you actually see that movie I posted before? You seem to not know the technique I used to pass that barrier. It absolutely doesn't matter if you remove that block even completely. A IBJ demorph shot can be performed at any height and without interrupting the infinite bomb jump at all, which means that as long as that Super barrier is reachable through a air line you will always be able use that sequence break, no matter of the room design. In fact Space Jump is that kind of item that will always be skippable no matter how a hack is designed. You just have to know the needed techniques to substitute it.

What I'm still confused about is this door:

It seems like it's impossible to ever enter it. If thats the case, why did you add it at all here? Just for decoration like it was at Phantoons room?

Quote from ZephyrZx:

You get Snes9x 1.43+ v9 linked before, load this hack, go to "File" -> "Movie Play", and select the smv you downloaded to playback it.
Seems like you have to rename it to whatever.smv again, as this forum uploader deletes the original filename. The file itself is always intact though.
yeah
I still fail to realize what any of this hacking shit has to do with sequence breaking and speedrunning.

I just checked with X ray and there in no way to the door.

Oh sorry, you're right, I didn't watch the vid yet. I was in a rush when posting that, so I kinda half-assumed the technique you were using. It seems your technique is even more insane than the one my playtester suggested laugh new

Edit: ok, now that I watched it, that's an insanely impressive vid Shocked

Yes, that door's just for decoration basically. Actually, the reason why I added it was because in my original level design, there was going to be a hall extending down from that exact point that led out to the door at the bottom of the shaft next to Bomb Torizo's room. However, I ended up having to use the room I intended for that to flesh out another area, so I scrapped that and left the metal door as a reminder. There are probably enough shortcut passages in Tetra Ruins anyway already.
i have everything, every key item, but i dont know where to go 8(

im at sky temple right now, any hint where to go?

The "middle" path of the Sky Temple that's between the one at the very bottom that leads back to Dark Gardens and the upper one that led you to Draygon.

Bigger hint: In the tall room with the Metroids flying around, there's a PB door in the middle. That's where you should be heading.
yeah i went there, but there is 2 instant respawn grapple blocks and dunno what to do there 8(
