hidden crumble grapple block
This is pretty fun so far Cardweaver :) For some reason I just find this hack really funny, which adds to the enjoyment even more; I've been giggling a lot while playing it XD I dont know how many rooms I've run into just to have something crazy happen all of the sudden, and I've been giggling every time it has happened XD
Ohhhhhh..... Ingenious. Off to play! :)

I'm glad you're enjoying it, though I don't know what you mean by "something funny." Care to give an example or 4?

Well, most people don't like hidden grapples, but to each their own.

Sure XD

Not sure if spoiler tags are needed for this, but just in case I will (since I'm describing what's in some rooms).
These were some rooms that made me giggle when I entered them:
The water filled room right before Spore Spawn and the conveyor belts during the fight

I was on my way to the speed booster, so I entered the room with the lava monsters (dont remember their names), and was like "what the...no platforms? XD". In the next room after that, I'm walking through, and suddenly the lava is rising really quickly on me, so I'm trying to chase the lava flow to the top XD

I decided after getting the speed booster I'd try to go in to the gauntlet, and I'm met with appearing/disappearing lava XD

the super fast rippers

There have been quite a few others too :)
Oh yeah. Gravy was kinda like, "what can i do that the developers didn't do? oh yeah, and lets make it crazy"

The appearing/disappearing lava is my absolute favorite accident to ever occur while hacking.

How i can get the ice beam in Norfair?

Look back on the previous page to find your solution. However, it's a complete spoiler, so if you just want a hint than I'll give you one here:

The way to the Ice Beam is right in front of you.

If that's too cryptic, check the last page.

EDIT: You won't be able to get it yet. Move on from that and come back later.
Okay. I'm stuck at a part after getting the speedbooster. I tried getting to the PBs in northern red brinstar, but the door was all greyed out. It's very frustrating. Otherwise this game is awesome.

(and BTW, what version of snes9x are .smv files compatible with? It says I can't play 'em on version 1.51)
the smv's are v1.43

The power bombs are indeed in the red brinstar, past that greyed out door. Try killing all the enemies.

Ok. I killed the 2 worm things and the needle shooter, but the door is still greyed out.

Edit: NVM. I figured it out.

EDIT2: Okay I'm stuck again. I'm stuck in the springball room.
Okay, I'm stuck in the Gauntlet with 3 E-Tanks.

Where is the Tank in the gauntlet, and is there anywhere out if I don't have enough energy to go through the gauntlet?
Oh dear. You've come across the one fatal place in all of Gravy.

You'll need 2 super missiles and the grappling beam. It's in the second room of the gauntlet, where there is a three tile tall shotblock that looks like pipe. Grapple the tile above this, then shoot the one above that with a super missile. Shoot the block to the left of it. Oh, the way out of the initial area of the second room is a super missile block underneath the blue door shield.

I hope you can make it!

Sonuva bitch!

Now I have to start the thing all over again...
Okay, how do I get out of the Springball Room? I'm completely stuck.

I would also like to deeply apologize that you've had to start over, and if you have to again, I'd like to apologize in advance.

aiwebs_016...That's awesome of you...

Cardweaver, you rule.
So I take it you made it out ok?

That should be the last place you can get stuck in Gravy, but I can't make any promises, as it's been a very long time since I last played through the game.

Yeah. Now I just have to find my way into the heart of Maridia.

Quick question: Where do I find the X-Ray? That could really come in handy right now.

Ah... the xray. The most hidden item in all of Gravy. It is in Maridia, and you can't get it until after you beat Draygon. The way to Draygon is:

Take the pipe/elevator to upper Maridia, the attempt to go through the WS backdoor entrance, but let one of the yapping maws grab you and pull you into the sand, then head to the right and continue on to Draygon.

I already beat Draygon. Right now, I'm in limbo: I could either backtrack, or take on Botwoon, and I don't feel like laying a lot of bombs.
Botwoon is hella hard. I've had people tell me he's harder than any boss they've ever fought. I highly advise savestates before you enter his room.

However, you don't have to backtrack. Quicksand is your friend, as are crumble blocks that were in the original game.
Stupid Pink Pirates.

I found where the X-Ray should be, but, you know...
