"SingleSegment God". Little bastard. I heard you did all my crazy tricks too... I hate you. Good job though man, been looking forward to watching this deal for far too long. :D
Downloading it now. Hopefully there will be some new stuff in here that will help me with my 100% normal run.(1:03:33. is still best 100% normal time XD)
BTW, props need to go to Nate for the Badass quality of the high quality version...even if it is a 1.29 GB download  Shocked
no prob man. a lot of it has to do with the quality of the source.
Dang, that IS high quality. Are you going to start capturing all the runs that way?
He has been for over a month

Whoa!!

That is so teh l33t!!

That kicks ass!!
Awesome. I love single-segment runs.
VERY impressive, Dragondarch.  That would have been pretty good even if it were broken up into segments, but the fact that it's single segment makes it 1000000 times better.  Great work!
I noticed that the scripted scene at the end where the pirate shoots at you went faster on the movie than it did on my cartridge.  Some parts went faster in the movie too.  Does PAL and NTSC have any framerate difference?  If so, would this affect my time?  Just wondering since something like this came up for Marvel Versus Capcom 2.

Great run, wish I could memorize all of that for a single-segment.  That's something that I won't be doing for a while...  Nice platform dodging too.

Edit:  Nevermind, I just noticed why.  When my computer lags a little bit, it speeds up the next few seconds to try and synchronize with the sound.  Everything just goes way faster during those few seconds and slows back to normal again.  You used NTSC right?

yes.

no. think of the framerate as a "window" into the game world. how many times per second you get to see what's going on in the game world is totally independent of how fast time passes in the game world.

Not on a GBA!
But who knows what a pal gbp does... was it even released in europe?
