Because of money and payment issues, I can't easily grab ahold of the Nintendo Player's Guide for ZM, so to anyone that has it on hand:

What names are used for the less-unanimous names of enemies and bosses (especially Meta/Mecha/Robo Ridley)?

Also:  What all eyecandy is there in the guide?  One of the reasons my FFIVA guide gets flipped through is for all the artwork spread about as if they were clipart (despite some of the pages having misaligned colors, making for eye-hurting double vision looksees).

Metal/Mecha/Robo Ridley are all fine, but most of us use Iron Ted. It may not be from the official Nintendo Players Guide, but a fine name nonetheless.
Armor Guardian
IIRC the guide uses the name "Robot Ridley".

Well, that's slightly lame.  I mean, prefixes > adjectives (or adj-functioning nouns, I guess).

Ah, I've been meaning to ask where the eff "Iron Ted" came from.  I mean, I get the first part, but...
I like Big Butts and I can not lie
This is the 1st mention of Iron Ted that I found from a search: http://forum.metroid2002.com/index.php/topic,216.msg6961.html#msg6961

Ridley first is faster by about 3 to 5 minutes.

AHAHAHA Anyone care to try a 25 minute Ridley First run?

Oh man, great stuff. Oh 2004...such a young age for Zero Mission....
