becasue of all the backtracking I'm not sure if this route is faster (its for sure going to be a pain in the ass) its far from being "done" i dont have missile expansions or energy tanks in it yet and i forgot ice spreader but oh well anyone who wants to help out feel free, I need more ideas to make this a good route

1: you need to have already scaned the thing that opens the gate before the back of OP to be able to wall crawl past him

Somehow I highly doubt that having to do that wallcrawl twice would save any time. I'm liking the idea a lot, but I think it's not enough to save anything just yet.

well if someone can find a way to melt the ice on the other side of the door in the OP room we only need to do it once
you can do it from outside the room

Like I said, you can do it from the outside of the room.

Yeah, meaning you'd have to do the wallcrawl twice, like we said. If you could do it inbound, it would only be once
just tried this route:

-do all the stuff at the beginning, SJ first and get varia and stuff and go to phendrana
-get wave, then boost ball
-ruined courtyard SW, wallcrawl past the grey door, take the magmoor elevator
-magmoor workstation SW, wallcrawl to plasma
-go to tallon elevator, chozo ruins, get lifegiver
-IS the magma pool power bomb
-ice beam, artifact of world
-x-ray visor, artifact of chozo, DBJ over the bars
-dash main quarry, kill elite pirate, get main PBs
-lower mines; phazon suit, artifact of newborn, backtrack
-omega research SW, wallcrawl to phazon elite; get artifact of warrior
-exit through PPC and go to phendrana
-far phen, thardus dash, near phen, artifact of strength, exit through the magmoor tallon elevator
-ridley, prime

and iirc, I had:

-0:15 magmoor after flaahgra
-0:21 ruined courtyard save
-0:22 in magmoor
-0:30 in gathering hall after plasma and the power bomb
-0:33 in reflecting pool
-0:38 in central dynamo with PBs
-0:40 before OP
-0:45 in central dynamo before the wallcrawl
-0:46 in central dynamo before the wallcrawl again because I didn't realize I had to kill the pirate in elite control >_>
-0:54 in magmoor after warrior
-0:59 in magmoor again before thardus dash
-1:03 at ship before ridley
-1:05 impact crater
-1:12 final time

seemed like a good route on paper but i guess it needs work. :/ having to exit the mines through the back after warrior takes a really long time, I think that's the main place I lost time.

well you also could take off about 5 minutes with perfect segments

you know how the IBJ makes the  ghosts there, like because you hit the loading zone in the shaft, if you wall crawl past the loading zone and never started the flaahgra fight wild is just floating in the middle of the room

edit: I did this a long time ago and can't remeber but, it might be hiting the loading zone without fighting flaahgra that makes it happen, im trying it right now to find out...

im pretty sure all that happens if you hit the trigger for wild without killing flaahgra is that flaahgra's flower won't be there, but you still have to fight the ghosts. i dunno about if you go in backwards without hitting the trigger.

I know theres way to do this^ without fighting the ghosts, I had a video on my other channel but I deleted it when I made my new one, DAMNIT!!!

I'm thinking maybe you have to have beaten the flaahgra already and left the way you came in the room then when back without hitting the loading zone but I don't remeber
my umbrella goes directly to Bankai
