Ok, there have been early powerbomb's in many rooms, but although I'm not quite sure(since I searched for a while for the topic with the early power bombs. some might consider this old, but it's new to me), that there is yet another! This one is in Magmoor Caverns as most of us know, in the room 'Fiery Shores'. But it's forcing the use of the SW in 'Burning Trail'. So many rooms to go through, yet, it's worth every second. It's simple if you know how to SW. aiwebs_008

So the only requirements you'll need are as follows...

1. Space Jump
2. Varia Suit
3. Morph Ball
4. Morph Ball Bombs
5. Skill in SW

Biggest SB right here. Kill Sheegoth quicker and more earlier, AND to get the plasma beam earlier(I think. I'll try this to see what results I can get.)

So you would want to make your way to the Artifact of Strength. There are a total of 6 rooms after the Burning Trail and the 7th one is the Warrior Shrine. Make your way to that room, and load that room, but make sure you don't accidentally load the powerbomb passage below the Chozo Artifact.

This is where you fall a little ways beneath the platform that the chozo statue sits. Like a few feet maybe? Or just walk behind the statue, the walk towards the statue to fall down to the level you need to be at. :)

Then walk beneath the hole passage and when you can, jump up and try to make the game load the room. While it's trying to load, you'll want to keep trying to jump, and this next part is tricky!

As the graphics and walls actually load you inside the passage, you would be jumping at that time, and space jump to the top of the hole, while holding L and moving Samus in a circle near the top, and if you look at your map, and it loaded the actual room you SW'd in, congrats!

If not, I recommend you restart your game cause I guarantee you that you WILL get stuck. Trust me, I TRIED... It's more annoying than you think.

It's basically a sticky room, and it IS complicated once you try to load the very next room. Great for ISBB, but since this is early, don't think you can do such a thing, LOL.

I will try to make a video on this to clear it up maybe this weekend, though I still have my doubts. I haven't been on in ages cause of my lack of getting on the computer. XD

How much would this affect runs if it's legit?
A much quicker kill on Sheegoth. I managed to kill him in 10 secs for the wavebeam. It's a good time saver if you can slide this into your run as soon as you enter Magmoor Caverns from Flaagrha's elevator. However, an any % speedrun, I'm not sure about it cause I'm not the speedrun type. Though I am positive this will be the first ever P-bomb pickup in the game. Just after Flaagrha. Can't wait till I can make a video of it soon to show how it's done exactly.
rocks, locks, and invisible blocks
i dont think this is going to help speedruns at all, you can kill the sheegoth in about 15 sec 6 bombs and 3 missles (or somthing like that) but im still going to have try this

Just be aware, that it would be easier to lure it into a wall, then plant the bomb away from the wall as close as possible to the Sheegoth. The power bomb pushes it backwards quite a bit.
re: how much does this affect runs: I don't think spending several minutes to get an early power bomb is worth it to kill Sheegoth a few seconds faster. If you want an early power bomb it would be faster to use IS to get the one out of Magma Pool on the way to Ice Beam.

Only one way I could see this being helpful - sparky was speculating at one point that wallcrawling to Plasma early might be faster. If it was, and you could do this and then get back out into the SW again afterwards rather than being stuck in the room, then maybe it'd be helpful. But that's a stretch. I just don't see this being worth it for a speedrun.
Yoshi is back
Wow, I vcould really use this PB thing to get my plasma beam earlier, thanks for the heads up, I'm gonna kill that X-Ray Drone too, (the one in the Dynamo)

Thats the thing. You would need the wave beam to get through that one door, hence it's the only way of loading the next room. Supposedly, you got the wave beam, SW, and then navigated to get the plasma beam, wouldn't you have to raise the roof first to get the beam room to load? I'm gonna figure this out asap. Might as well get this out of the way. Currently, I'm skipping boost, spider, and many other things I can't think of, but getting alot of the expansions so I don't die as quickly. I'll edit in this post when done figuring it out... >.<

EDIT: Though I'm skipping some items, I'm being stupid so I'm trying to skip Phazon Suit too. :P
getting there...
Cool. Keep on brainstorming. This type of thing is great for the community.
QUICK UPDATE!

You CAN get the Plasma Beam to load before raising the room! However, I haven't tested getting the plasma before getting the door to unlock, since I have the crappy PC version. :P
rocks, locks, and invisible blocks
when you leave the room (with plasma) your  back in a SW again (i think) and that means you could head back to the PB then get it and then if that can be done fast maybe somthing like this could be a speed run route
SJ
missle
ball
bombs
ice beam(i think it might be faster to come back for this tho like after wave)
varia
plasma
PB
wave
ice beam if you didnt get it before
xray
phazon sult
i dont know when artifacts would fit in but meh some one else can come up with that...

also has early plasma been tested yet?
As far as I know, you can get plasma as your second beam. It's just really annoying and possibly pointless.
rocks, locks, and invisible blocks
well if done fast i think i could take off some time in a speed run

I haven't gotten into the room yet. I got ALL the way to the door and room itself, but I haven't been able to get in the room(due to an epic phale such as accidentally going OVER the wall). I'm trying to get a video of it, but I can't find my wii remote, since I only have avi cables on the wii and not the gcn. BUT! I am testing this. This could be specifically for PC speed runners since I'm probably the only one who only has the PC version and none of the others(lol). But I think it's good for others who like to speed run on the PC, since that door doesn't unlock unless you come from the other side... Still, This is being tested..........

ALSO! If you want to get back IN the room, on the opposite side of the room, and you need back in the room(if you didn't raise the roof), there IS a small spot where you can wiggle yourself in between the wall and the non-raised roof, and be pushed back in the room. It's more closer to the door where you can first enter it without going through Phendrana Drifts. Still taking time to get it. lolz
The Overlord of All Acorns.
plasma before wave would be nice, would skip the backtrack

but rummaging around in secret worlds is very slow.  I doubt it would save much, if any time.
This almost certainly wouldn't be useful in a run, but I'm curious if it would be possible to get the power bomb expansion in Magma Pool before Flaaghra.

My current theory is to wallcrawl from Main Plaza through Piston Tunnel and Training Chamber to that room between Magma Pool and Training Chamber, which will henceforth be referred to as X.  Hit the loading trigger for Magma Pool in X and jump onto the door.  Transition to Magma Pool to make it appear, then quickly transition back to X to minimize damage.  Then ceiling warp into the alcove where the power bomb expansion is.

Now, the problem is getting back out.  Either we'd need to get back into the SW, or somehow get the game to transition to Magma Pool by going up next to the door to X.  The latter option would then require a mad dash for the door before the heat kills you.
not evil,just hungry
iirc, all attempts to ceiling warp there have failed.  Parts of it may look uneven, buy they are just textures.  The actual solid boundary is a flat cube.
flickerball fetches it fine, but I don't think this is the solution you are looking for.
rocks, locks, and invisible blocks
if you just want that PB before fhaaghra just do a varialess magmor run, come back with boost wall crawl to magma pool load the room switch back to the room before it then ceiling warp into magma pool and get IS on whatever wall you want

my umbrella goes directly to Bankai
lol it was just stated that ceiling warp is impossible in that room.
rocks, locks, and invisible blocks
oh i must have read that wrong ummm, door warp then 0.o
