i was battling Meta ridley when for no real reason (take note i had full energy) i died...any guesses why cuz im stumped.

Mecha Ridley does a lot more damage on 100% that plus the somewhere around 50% damage increase from Hard mode pretty much means only a couple hits will kill you.

It was clearly a case of spontaneous human combustion. I commend the people of Nintendo Ltd. for including many of life's real dangers as part of the Metroid series.

I guess no-one told you that 100% items comes included with a Bomb Suit that detonates randomly, killing the user. It's quite brutal.

Damn right it was.

Seriously, Meta-Ridley does HUGE damage normally, compared to the other bosses on MZM, but on 100%, he does exactly 3 times more damage than normal, meaning he'll wipe out around 5-6 tanks by slashing you. Which basically means you're p'wned off 2 hits.

What game are we talking about here? Unless I didn't know ridley is called meta-ridley in mzm. Anyway, did you die when you got hit or just all of a sudden?

Edit: Never mind, I forgot about the final boss, which is meta-ridley. Dark SA-X is right, it does do uber damage in 100%

Meta-ridley is the ridley from Prime. Ridley-X is the ridley from fusion. Mecha-ridley is the robot-version of ridley in mzm.

Meta Ridley is partially very organic, including his brain. Metal Ridley is 100% a robot, so I don't see how they could possibly be the same.

there is no meta ridley. its mecha ridley. nintendo even said so.  Rolling Eyes

Not to mention that he has twice as much (or more) health in any 100% run...

Oh, I guess the MZM player's guide is wrong then, because it says robot ridley. But if it's definitely meta-ridley, then I'll just ignore what it says.
