i think that in ZM you almost have no fun spacejumping because you get it at the end of the game,unlike Fusion,what do you guys think?i think that the fully powered suit is too late...

But the space jump does come to late, it just is not very useful

I'll tell you what i HATE about the space jump. NOT the fact that you don't get it early enough, the fact that you CAN'T WALL JUMP! grr. I want to be able to wall jump, just because I have the ability to jump infinitely doesn't mean I should lose the ability to flip off a wall. It messes me up a lot because I'm pretty sure you can in super, but not ZM or Fusion.

Why would you want to Wall Jump when you have the Space Jump?  If you jump next to a wall ans Space Jump away from it, that's the same as if you Wall Jumped away from it, only Space Jumping is a bit quicker and you don't hear the "tup" sound.

Yeah...but you have to go down a little bit first before you can space jump again, not like with the wall jump.

I like where they put the Fully Powered Suit in the game. But, I do agree that they should of made the Space Jump earlier and replaced it with Screw Attack. (More Challage!) But, it is a Metroid remake after all.

I guess there's something we don't agree on. I liked having screw attack before having space jump for once. Made an interesting change for me.

I loved getting the Fully Powered Suit.  I was dissappointed that the Varia didn't have those cool shoulder-sphere things, you know?  So it was awesome to find out that they didn't really leave them off after all.  And getting the Plasma Beam rocked because you really got to take the hurt to the Space Pirates to get your righteous revenge.  A Klingon Proverb once said that revenge is a dish that is best served cold...  It is very cold on Zebes...

Yeah, that made me screw up here and there when I first played through Zero Mission.  After I got the Screw Attack I'd quite often find myself attempting to Space Jump and landing in a huge pool of lava....

If you look very closely before you put the gravity suit on (When it says "Got Fully Power Suit".) Look at Samus, her Varia suit has those spikes. I think so anyway.

Bah. I never liked the space jump. If it was a double-jump like Prime, or maybe a triple-jump, I'd be fine with it, but... Usually, once I get the spacejump, the game just feels so... meh.

I don't like being some sort of superman! Having a beam that kills most everything in one blast is more than enough power for me, being able to fly wherever, whenever AND kill everything in my path is just too much!



I loved the spacejumpless screw attack, though. Just like in the first game. Just like it should be.

No, not nearly early enough. Space jump is required to enjoy screw attack. Otherwise doing any jumping with frozen enemies becomes a royal pain.

that norfair super wscrew attack, and then the missile afterwards... evil, those were.

My very first game I didn't even get the screw attack, totally missed the obvious clues, and liked jumping a whole lot more.

Yes. The screw attack is so awkward (especially at first) without spacejump.

Getting the fully powered suit at the end was kind of weird. On one hand it was cool to take out all the pirates. But on the other it almost felt like everything was rushed. But I guess it wasn't such a big deal.

I would have voted fine as it is, except I keep falling in the lava by that fourth Brain barrier on my 9% run, so... *votes get it earlier*

I've never really been fond of the space jump, especially in fusion at the end, your basicly invincable.  Either have space jump or screw attack but not together just takes the challenge away.

One thing I have a problem with the space jump is that if you skip Hi Jump, It take forever to Space jump to the top of an area.
