I know a few people still remember that Zem was the first person to attempt a 10% Hard run. He recorded it on VBA and sent it to several people, but stopped the run at Mecha Ridley. He has sent me a task: To hunt down his run. Because I have nowhere else to start, I thought I'd ask here. Maybe somebody saved a copy on their computer? Nate maybe? I dunno, I just thought I'd ask around. Thanks in advance.

the problem about e-mailing it is that i can send only 10mb worth of attachments per e-mail, and since i cant split the videos because i have no editor, theres no way to get it to you.

Have you compressed the videos? 550MB seems quite big if you have.

What he means is that he doesn't think a video of that size should take up 550MB. Is there a way you could change the format of the video or get it to a smaller file size?

i cant change the format of the videos because my capature card freid apparently, nor do i have a video editor, the file is too big to be sent by e-mail, i crash freewebtown.com when i upload it there, and it crashes my computer when i try to zip it because its too big of a file, my 5th-8th parts may be small enough to get on free web town .com..... i wonder if i could get those on, considering my first segment is here already.


*edit after 5 minutes of compressing, my computer finally managed to reduce the 550MB size all the way down to 113MB,

*edit to the *edit i am now attempting to upload it to freewebtown without a crash

I attempted one of these, and I used the exception at the Ice beam room and the lava pit with the jumperthings on the way out from ice, then I went down to Kraid, after several deaths, and then I finally reached Kraid. But I realized that there's no way to even damage him with bombs, so there goes my morphball run, I don't want to unmorph. :P Well, my morphball run officially ended in the saveroom before Kraid. Btw, I counted the eyedoor before him as missiledoor and blew it open with a missile.

No, not the format. I'm wondering if he's compressed them using something like Divx for example.

*edit the file has been "uploading" for 25 minutes now. i dont think its working.

*Edit to the *edit: I managed to get one final video from my capature card, there is smoke now coming from it, unfortunetly this video was filmed in fusion, so i guess i wasted it

Well, I imagine Metal Ridley, Kraid, and Ridley would be impossible to kill with bombs, so I think you're right.

psh, Acid Worm's easy with bombs. I did it the other day. No harder than Iron Ted with 9% (which is like 10x worse)

Did you have high jump when doing that, or were you timing the bombs perfectly to blow you away, cuz that'd be very hard to do, since it takes like a billion bombs to kill Acid worm.

doesn't take so many...you just lay a bomb when he bites himself for some reason, then slightly pause and then lay a bunch of other bombs. When he gets to red, lay a bomb like the EXACT frame or a bit before he starts chomping and lay a bunch of bombs near the same time. Pretty easy, actually.

I've concluded that bombjumping takes like literally about 15 minutes to kill him. Now while I have no reservations against using that much time, I just want to know if anyone cares enough to watch it, cause it IS boring as hell. Lemme know, I'll probably do that segment in like 7 hours, when I get home from school. Thanks.
