Not sure where to stick this, but I guess this topic is best. Gentlemen, we have the biggest oversight ever. You know that elusive PB tank in NOC that everyone does a diagonal shine-spark to eliminate the dash-blocks so they can pass through NOC instead of SRX? Did anyone else think to just jump? Yeah :P. http://www.metroid2002.com/ekarderif/noc_pb_tank.avi

Easier and quicker, no?
One shall stand, one shall ball.
I feel dumb now....
It seems no one remembers my 100% run very well. :(
One shall stand, one shall ball.
It's been a long time since I've seen any Fusion runs...
Something like that should've stood out I guess, seeing as know one seems to know about it.
One shall stand, one shall ball.
I think sisnce not many people like Fusion much they knida forget about all the cool stuff that gets done... Or that's just me.
Whoops Embarassed. Me = stupid

cool new avatar, dawgs.
So was that quote directly related to my new avatar? Did no one know about it?

EDIT: Wow, it took me forever to realize what I actually wrote.
Whee! 100% trick: http://www.metroid2002.com/ekarderif/tro_missile.avi
I've done that, and I think someone mentioned it quite some time ago. Don't know if it's been used in a run though.
Well, I checked WD's run and it didn't have it so I didn't know Embarassed. Go me and my Fusion "expertise" eh?
I guess it's something like this topic:

Mentioned once, missed by many.

Don't worry, you're doing better than I am.  I don't even see what the trick is.
It's removing the floor with the beam, instead of going to the far right, falling though the floor, and coming back around.
That's a trick? Geez...I saw it in a run and I figured that it should be obvious...but on a side note...I haven't seen many Fusion runs cause I just find them boring...nothing that really catches my eye except when you get past something that really pisses me off...then I just want to wring the runners neck...*looks darkly at Sess*
I'll be back. Maybe...
I managed to do something amusing with BOX, not sure it'll help.

I started the battle in the normal way, then climbed onto the far right end of the bars, and it just started ramming the step below and never firing any grenades... Rolling Eyes It was really odd, and during this time I was just killing it with Charge Beam and Missiles...
can someone make a video?

...In that same exact area, I had a trick that nobody ever felt like commenting on, and when they did, they just said it wasn't shorter enough to be useful. That block you shoot is bombable, and I've been bombing it every time I go there. If you shoot or bomb it out, you can jump back up and bomb the exit block, then get the missile while you wait for the bomb to blow up. I think WD's argument with that was that jumping and morphing to lay the bomb took about as much time as the bomb itself (which I really doubted, but pretended it was true anyways). With shooting it, you don't have to roll back out of the tunnel then unmorph, so it really is a second of time saved.

When I stated this, I attached a comment about the time for the reformation of the exit block appeared to vary, because I would sometimes not make it in time, and I would sometimes get to the next screen without it reforming, and I believe I took exactly the same time to get the missile, hop out and morph out of there. Weird.
