Datel sold a collection of altered saved game data for Wii under the name "Power Saves".  For Corruption, you start out with 100%.

The Illusion over at MDb has been documenting his discoveries of what happens if you have items really early from this save.  Here is the topic:

Oh, by the way, [Rundas] hit me with his ice-sword when I tried to screw attack him. Guess what happened.

I FLEW OUT OF THE LEVEL BOUNDRIES INTO A BLACK ABYSS AND THE GAME LAGGED.

Does Gandrayda use the ice sword? If so, might be worth looking into there.
OH ****!!!!
I would think so if you got to close to GRundus. However the acid rain would Annialilate you unless it stops at some points or you use an AR for a hazard shield.
This sorta thing is fun to read. Wonder if you can skip Ghor by welding the Elysia AU's panels instantly.

you can skip Ghor. Oh sure. And all you need is the plasma beam which...Ghor still has.....
I meant using the Nova beam. I think that's supposed to be included in the 100% save that's talked about a bit here, too.
Finally got it working on my wii. Had to rent Twilight Princess for Wii since I only own the GC one. I have to admit that it is pretty hilarious levitating over bosses and staying in hyper mode permanently. You need 3 power cells to get the leviathan code (couldn't find a secret world to bypass them).

I find that most rooms aren't as "big" as I assumed. Most of Elsya for example is separate rooms. You can't float from the first platform (landing dock) to the 3rd (where Aurora unit is). Almost every room on that planet is linear with only one entrance and one exit.

The hardest boss when using cheats has to be Ghorr (cyborg guy). The levitate button is the same button as the boost button (making it impossible to boost into him when he is in the power suit). There are two ways to beat him
1) Swap A & B buttons in the ingame menu
2) Use hyper mode morph ball phazon thing (can't remember the name)

Both are extremely frustrating and double the length of the fight.
Every Bit Counts
So to do this you need a wii action replay-like device called ocarina, a SD card, and twilight princess?
It's a homebrew application, not a device. All you need is an SD card and TP, you can download Ocarina.

Wow this hack has gotten me all excited about prime 3 again.

Note to people who are interested in using the hack: You should not update to 3.4 system menu yet as there isn't a fully compatible hack ready for that version. Also Ocarina is discontinued and now you simply use GeckoOS to use cheats (it is more up to date and has less bugs).

Doors do not need to be hit to fully load the next room (meaning you can skip ALL doors including big doors like Valhalla). I currently do not have anything that can record video of this but it is easy to test. To do it you simply use the SW to get ontop of the room you want to load, stand close to the door, and wait.

It doesn't work right away and you have to move back and forth to get it to work but this is a pretty amazing. With this I managed to get to the pirate homeworld with 10%. In order to get the pirate code you must have Energy Grapple, Sonic beam, and one energy tank (for the elevator in valhalla). The reason why is you can't get the code without leaving the SW and once you do there is no other SW (only SW for Valhalla is the VERY first room). Luckily all of the unpowered doors are powered from the reverse side.

I'll post a little guide on what you can and cannot skip later tonight. So far I'm pretty certain you can skip ALL of bryyo (including Bryyo ice since Valhalla is force shown after you beat Eylsa). The only thing that leaves me uncertian is Phaaze since you might need the Phazon Morph ball energy...thing.

Edit: to clarify I am NOT using a power save. This is a clean game simply using Moon Jump code and infinite health.

Alright so I beat corruption with 17% (4 hours). I got a two extra items that I didn't need. From what I've seen I think it is safe to say that the minimum required percent to beat Corruption is 15%.

I picked up the Hazard suit to look for SWs on Pirate Homeworld because the Acid rain WILL kill with cheats on. It eventually does more damage per tick than you have maximum health so you just instantly die. Sadly this was a waste of time as there are no point to SWs on Pirate Homeworld. Attempting to SW into a room that has a transport on PH results in a crash 95% of the time. This means you must kill Ridley in order to Use the Pirate Code. SWing into a transport room on other planets is perfectly fine though...

Anyway here is the great list of things you absolutely need.

Missles (these opens both red missile and white missile doors)
1 Energy Tank (forced on you unless you can SW around it)
Grapple Lasso
Command Visor (you must get this visor for Ship Grapple)
PED Suit
Boost Ball
Plasma Beam
Ship Grapple
Seeker Missiles (required to destroy Elsya Seed)
Hyper Missiles (never used but needed to activate Pirate Homeworld)
Grapple Voltage (non-Hypermode)
X-Ray Visor
Nova Beam
2 Energy Cells (You are FORCED to get these via Multi Missles & Morph ball entrance at Pirate Homeworld)
Pirate Code
Hyper Voltage (Hypermode)

I'm not sure exactly what increases your percent and what doesn't but I have 17% with all of these items PLUS Hazard suit and 1 ship missile expansion.

So here is a little more detail on why you need some items in reverse order.

To get to Phaaze you need to get access to the Pirate Wormhole generator.
This requires the Hyper Voltage and the Pirate code.
To get the Pirate code you need the Nova beam and 1 energy cell (explained below).
To get Hyper Voltage you need both the X-Ray Visor and the Nova beam.
To get the Nova beam you need the Grapple Voltage (from Gandrada).
To get to Gandrada you need the X-Ray visor (impossible to skip that Map station).
To get the X-Ray visor you must pull the Energy cell out of the wall and use the morph ball tunnel (you now have 2 energy cells)
In order to open Pirate homeworld you need to destroy the seed on Elsya.
This requires you to get the Ship Grapple and the Seeker Missles (In order to get Seeker Missles you must pull out the energy cell there)
To get the Ship Grapple you must have the Plasma beam & the Command Visor.
To get the Plasma beam you must get the Boost ball.
To unlock Elsya you must get the PED suit.
To get out of the GFS the first time you must get both Missiles and 1 Energy tank. [These may be skipped with SW but I haven't tested]

How to do Pirate code with 1 energy cell.

  • Land at Valhalla, do NOT pick up the one on the ground.
  • SW around into the second room (move back and forth to get it to load, no shooting required)
  • SW around the third room and pick the left door on the 2nd floor. Enter the actual world here (stand in front of the door from the outside of the map and use a morph ball bomb).
  • Enter the Elevator to the left and place the energy cell in the Elevator to activate it (required for later).
  • Go all the way back out to your ship.
  • SW all the way back to the elevator but do NOT enter the map.
  • Continue to SW your way up the Elevator, through the door, and take the green door on your right. It will NOT be activated (requires energy cell) but that doesn't matter. Stand on the outside of the door looking at it and wait. The map will eventually load and you'll be inside the green door which isn't powered.
  • From here continue your way to the Pirate code then return to your ship.
  • You will be required to take the elevator down on your way out. If you skipped doing this then you must reload your file as there is no SW beside the front entrance to Valhalla.
...
There's a SW on the Valhalla?  I have never heard of it, unless you can only enter it by using those cheats.
Ah yeah sorry I guess I forgot to mention that I'm using the Moon Jump code & Infinite Health. That post is to show what is the minimum possible percent if you could somehow access all SWs.

Only SW in Valhalla is the main room and you have to go really far out then back to do it. I don't think it will be possible without Moon Jump. It isn't that big of a deal though as you can get the Pirate code with 3 energy cells and you are forced to get 2 even with Moon Jump. 1% difference - big deal.
Wow now this stuff is fascinating. What a great way this should be to test out and push the game engine. It certainly rules out a lot of hope, though. Prime 3 seems just about unbreakable by conventional means :(
Well it rules out a sub 15% game and skipping a few things but it brings upon some hope of finding a way to skip bryyo or at least a few items on bryyo. Anyway I'm glad that someone beside me found it fascinating =)
Anywhere, everywhere

Awesome. This means that one of the main obstacles stopping the screw attack skip has been bypassed. Now, I think all that's left is Security Station on Elysia and the Pirate Homeworld seed for skipping screw attack. For Security Station, if we could find a west skytown sw (powerworks doesn't count), we should be able to wallcrawl past it. The seed is a bit trickier, since there's no secret world possibilities. Some sort of new distance-based jump would need to be found.

Also, there might be some rooms in east skytown that require screw attack, but since that area is so sequence broken, I think that there should be a way past all of the obstacles.
Bumping an old post here for a relative question...

Is anyone interested in seeing a video of this moon jump run?

I'm pretty bored but I'm afraid the max quality of my recordings may be to low for anyone to enjoy (example below in my spoilers).

Acclaimed Threshold
Constant Sorrows
The quality isn't great, no, but it's still good enough that I'd watch it.

I have no idea what you're doing in that video, though.
It demonstrates the broken warning spike that occurs on the door itself, which doesn't make sense considering varia has been obtained.
rocks, locks, and invisible blocks
hey look this thered is like years old but i just found out about ocarina and was wondering if it works with all wii games and if so does anyone have codes for prime trilogy???
my umbrella goes directly to Bankai
stop bumping old topics if you have nothing new to contribute. you can ask for codes somewhere else like gbatemp.net
