1. OMG fun with BBcode! 2. Same way as in Super Metroid, eh? * looks for run button in M1 * * can't find it * * tries to morph in mid-air * * can't do it * 3. Now, you can UNMORPH in midair in M1, which is actually quite useful in several places. 4. Even if you could mockball in Metroid 1, I can't see how it would be useful. Mockball in SM doesn't grant extra speed, it just lets you keep your current running speed while rolling. So, I don't see where a M1 mockball would even be useful from the standpoint of saving a few seconds here and there in a speed run. 5. Maybe if you were a bit more descriptive of what you're talking about, or made a short video clip to post, we'd be able to know a little better what you're talking about.
...Sounds like he is referring to the early Super vid on the main site( Go through a door and morph...well, sort of). @Kanden: The problem is that a mockball is just a technique in Super Metroid which lets you keep your current running speed while rolling (as MonsterERB mentioned in the last post) and not the "going through a door and morph"-thing. You would just go into morph ball if you do that. And you know what is really COOL?? You don't have to go through a door to do this! [I want credit for this discovery!]
Nah, that'll fly. Nate can't find the shift key either...
Nah, not really. Certainly nate can make lack of capitalisation look good, but I don't think anyone else can. If you want to be respected here, you need to have good writing presentation.
