Metroid Zero Mission hard 9% (PAL-version)

Okay so we've been chatting with Master-88 over at FinMetroid and he said he started a hard 9% run on console but stopped at Tourian because of the barriers. Is that Ekarderif's (sp) run legit? I remember running to something like that (http://forum.metroid2002.com/index.php/topic,3871.100.html) but I didn't quite understand if this is a real run or not.

I'm not gonna try it yet, but I know Master should: would SDA accept this kind of run?

do you mean this? if so, no, that's not a "legit" run. it's a tool-assisted speed run done on an emulator using save states and re-records.

sda would accept a pal 9% hard done on console though, so good luck with your attempts.

Yeah emurape is what I meant. The maker of it disappeared if I remember correctly or..?

To be honest I'm really trying to motivate Master-88 into the job of recording this kind of a speedrun since he has the equipment.

SDA as well requires speed. And yeah it looks stupid save game after every barriers. But game absolutely requires it. I think 9% might be cool to see, but i guess its not are good speedrun category. I think SDA crazy stanard will reject it only with this reason. But i don,t know.

Hah hah. Yeah, but i already have really much trouble going through zebetites. I spend about 3-4 hours with first zebetite and i don,t still pass it even i have very good skills then. I guess if i ever run that game in SDA i´ll choose try run 9% normal run. I still think i can,t got par with my old skills which make my 9% normal run in 41.35.

But if you are interested run that game i wish luck with your run 9% hard run with accetable speed. Completion only its not are enought in SDA and i am sure with this. Even category is crazy, but i still guess you need go it under hour.
