rocks, locks, and invisible blocks
Right now, I can't think of anything that physically can not be done. But if I can't finish the game, this is probably devolve into a "Max% without Space Jump".

I started this run last night and I'm currently sitting at 27%:

Major Items (10):
Missiles
Morph Ball
Morph Ball Bombs
Charge Beam
Varia Suit
Boost Ball
Wave Beam
Spider Ball
Ice Beam
Super Missiles

Artifacts (3):
Lifegiver
Nature
Wild

Expansions (13):
8 Missiles
5 Energy Tanks
1 Power Bomb

ao, i'm guessing Geo Core is gonna kill this, unless the wallcrawl can be done.
rocks, locks, and invisible blocks
That's where I'm at right now. Burning Trail is possible in theory, I just need to learn how to do it without Space Jump <_<

Oh cool, I lost the file. Time to do all that over again...

Well... anyway. I'm pretty sure I can make it out of Life Grove with a floaty dash off a ghost, the idea just came to me but when I went to test it, my file was gone from my SD card. And I was never able to back it up because my computer's SD card slot is on the fritz.

Edit: Well I'm back to this, I've recreated my file but with a few more missiles than before, streamed the whole thing too.

I'm still looking into a way to actually get out of Life Grove, I spend a very long time trying to do a floaty dash off a ghost to clear the gap from the second last platform to the end, and I feel like it should be possible, but I couldn't get enough distance. I'm also looking into some way to maybe get into the SW or just onto the higher branches by boosting up slanted trees and other objects, so far I've got semi far up one tree, but I'll need to look into what's stand-on-able on a file with SJ to map out what to do from there. Anyway, this room could be the end of the run if I don't come up with something.

Good luck with Life Grove!! I want to ask you though, if you can also do that spinner manipulating trick on any Wii version? Remember, you asked me to look into it but since you've already come that far...
rocks, locks, and invisible blocks
I'll look into it, sure. I still don't fully understand how it's done but I'll see what I can do.
Funny question in this topic but was the SJF actually confirmed possible in this version? Have you ever done it itsPersonnal? I've seen some video's but they were never really clear to me..

SJF isn't possible. If you're talking about the staticy low-quality video on youtube, that's a fake and the player spins very fast to make it look like he isn't space jumping to reach the ledge (though he is).

SJ is possible after obtaining bombs.
rocks, locks, and invisible blocks
I wouldn't say it's impossible, there's some potential that you could floaty dash to the ledge from the ship, if you got a floaty dash by falling off the back corner. Going straight off the side of the ship doesn't give you a speed boost like most ledges do in this game. (because of how the edge of the ship is shaped?)
At any rate, it's never been done to my knowledge, but I'd imagine a TAS could clear the gap.
getting there...
Is there just not enough interest in the Wii version for someone to load it up into Dolphin, and give it an honest TAS go? If SJF is possible on the Wii version, I'd imagine that, for a TAS veteran, completing the task would be only a couple of hours of work. Also, if someone does manage it, the knowledge derived from the inputs/footage should certainly help in getting a non-TAS version.

The only Wii SJF video I've seen was from a user of this forum. From what I remember, he claimed to have been trying for hours, and was sleep deprived. Is this the video kirby is mentioning?
rocks, locks, and invisible blocks
Probably, I've seen two videos and both used moon jump. One was from our old friend MetroidFan001 and the other I don't remember the channel name.

I would test TAS it, if my computer could run the game.

are you referring to the video of "Dragoony12345" on youtube? are you sure it's fake and he already got space jump boots even before doing sjf? because i searched the video on youtube and watched it and after he successed at SJF he went to alcove and when he opened the door to alcove i noticed that the SJF item was still there! he hadn't collected it yet. Is there action replay for Trilogy prime? you think he maybe cheated and used a code to already have the space boots?
Anywhere, everywhere

Yes, codes exist for Moon Jump or granting specific items (like Space Jump) in Trilogy.
Yeah, I looked up that video and it looks pretty clear that he faked it using moonjump.

wallcrawl took about an hour, the SW sucks but it's possible

I still need to find a way to leave Life Grove, I don't think there's much stopping me after that??

I've been busy

A lot of things aren't recorded, but yeah I'm at 81% saved by Life Grove. Which by the way, I actually did find a way out of Live Grove... it's just very close to TAS only. I have faith I'll make it work though.

Remaining items include:
1. Energy Tank behind OP
2. X-Ray
3. Chozo
4. Newborn
5. Thermal Visor
6. MQA Missile
7. MQB Missile
8. FHA Access Missile
9. PPC Missile

10. Root Cave Missile
11. Watery Hall Missile
12. FHB Missile
13. Landing Site Missile
14. Gathering Hall Missile
15. Triclops Pit Missile
16. GTC Missile
17. Wavebuster

Edit: 95%

I don't know if the last bomb jump in Phazon Core is possible...

Edit: 95% save file (R3IJ) http://puu.sh/jKjbN.bin

I'm about 90% sure that the Main Plaza SW is doable, though the one bomb in air rule makes the trick real tedious because the area it's done from it only partly considered ground and partly not. <_< triclops pit is possible but it's annoying and I haven't got around to doing it yet
You might be able to ceiling warp and get the missile that way

Phazon Core and Life Grove are relentless and unforgiving miseries. (Still trying to get Phazon Core on console).

Other notably bad things:
Wavebuster (Gathering Hall SW+Wallcrawl)
Leaving Main Power Bomb room
Wallcrawl to Plasma Beam
Phendrana's Edge
Frozen Pike
Getting to Wave Beam (this was done before any inbounds method was found, so I had to wallcrawl)
Leaving The Sunken Frigate
Wallcrawling out of Phazon Mines (same as 21% wallcrawl)
Wallcrawling to Root Cave twice to get both missiles (<_<)
Wallcrawling to Thardus

I'm probably forgetting a couple

Quote from Youtube Description:
Phazon Core:
00:22 - 00:45 Lower room climb
01:13 - 01:28 Floating platform bomb jumps
01:40 - 01:49 Metroid Bomb Jump #1
03:48 - 03:57 Metroid Bomb Jump #2

Metroid Prime: (Nothing interesting here)
04:17 - 08:06 Metroid Prime Exo
08:06 - 11:20 Metroid Prime Essence

Credits/End Screen
11:20 - 19:19 Final Cutscene/Credits
16:19 - 20:13 End Screen

The final item acquired in Metroid Prime counts as 2%, there is no 99%.

This run collected every single item in the game without Space Jump. I have a small playlist showing off some of things required/used in this run, but unfortunately most of the tricks I had to find to pull this off weren't recorded/documented. I'll try to add to this in the future.

https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLP21hKZGxIlQxkbhrT2gSHS0Qkyx2iifq

This project took about a year off-and-on to complete. Originally I never even expected to finish the game, let alone finish with every item. No one else has ever gotten anywhere near beating Metroid Prime Wii without Space Jump.
