I recently just order Metroid Prime Trilogy on ebay. This is the best deal I can find right now for a brand new game. Others will charge between 70 to 120 US dollars.

Ah, on metal cases, I saw Final Fantasy XII Collector's (or whatever its moniker) for twenty bucks, so bought it, even though my sis has a copy of the regular (pre-Greatest-Hits, though I doubt anything was changed, unlike Prime's marvels).  Sure, I prolly reduced the value of the discs by marking them with my insignia, but I don't intend to sell most any of my games, and what was marked on is prolly just background coloring, with the black Sharpie not really standing out and thoroughly ruining effects.

As for Prime Trilogy, I still don't have a Wii, and I still haven't gone back to my Prime run in months, so it's effectually not a big deal, but, as mocked by the Escapist News Network, I loves mah swag, and I like Metroid's style and 'verse, so...

I'm surprised that there any of us that didn't buy it on the release date.  The release of any official metroid game is something that I lose sleep over and even take time off work for, even if it's just for a port like this one.

i already have all of the games and don't even like two of them. i'd like the trilogy set eventually to mess around with the new prime controls, but it's not that important to me. i'll get a copy when they're twenty bucks used on amazon. i doubt they're ever going to be hard to find.

i wouldn't count of that since there weren't many copies made in the first place and once they run out, prices will go up a lot over time.
so, the sooner you get a cheap copy, the better.

also, it is a lot of Nintendo's fault that people here didn't buy the trilogy. who wants a gimped game in a speedrunning forum? also, there was no new content to entice people who had all the games already.
had they added new art galleries, alternate item placements (like Zelda Master Quest) or even some extra modes (boss rush, for example), a lot more people would have got the trilogy.

i've been buying used games for years. there'll be copies.
example: beyond good and evil is a great game that sold poorly (despite being a ps2 'greatest hits' title). there are plenty of copies of it on amazon for less than 10 bucks.

that's good.
my concern is that this game might not behave normally since it is a limited edition item, unlike most games that sell super cheap used. if there's used and cheap copies for a long time, then that's great.

The dramatically different controls were enough to make me rush out to buy it.  I was also happy about the collectors tin and artbook.  Between those three things, I felt good about my purchase.
Well they could at least have updated the multiplayer.....

If MP3 had multiplayer, it'd be awesome.  For example, instead of just playing as Samus, Dark Samus, and 2 clones, you could play as Samus, Rundas, Ghor and Gandrayda.

That would mean more work on the developer's side. The fact they included the MP2 multiplayer is cool. Now if only I could get people who wanted to play it with me (for a while, my sisters wouldn't play Melee with me cause I was too good)
I have to admit that I've never even tried the multiplayer on MP2 or MPH.  I really don't know anyone else that would be into it.
Yeah I got my brother to play it with me 2 or 3 times.
I don't think they even updated the graphics.

This is the correct way to go.

Well, I tried MPH's online, and ended up selling the game cause people glitch into a wall on one level that EVERYONE goes on, and shoot you through the wall. And everyone went for Trace.
I just received Metroid Prime Trilogy on mail today, and here's a picture of me holding it.

It only work when there's two players on the map. If there was 3 or 4 players, it will not work.

btw it wasn't just trilogy that nintendo has stopped shipping. awhile ago they also ceased production of batallion wars ii, mario strikers charged, and wario land: shake it.

buy wario land: shake it. can't stress that enough.

Yeah, saw some at Best Buy, I wanna say for $20, maybe $30. However, that'll prolly be easier to come by used then the Trilogy. Still can't use either. Still need job.

jooooob...
