Metroid Prime Anniversary Race

Okay, so today is the anniversary of the ntsc-u release. Last year, we had an any% race on SpeedRunsLive on this date, and we figured we'd do the same this year. I highly recommend anyone who at least somewhat knows the route to join!

Right now we're thinking about making it start at 7pm est, if anyone would like to join but that time doesn't work for them, please say so. Also, if anyone does not know how to join a race on SpeedRunsLive, I can help you out.

Obviously the loading time will give me an advantage. But I also have never even done any% before, so I have that working against me.

according to Esi, if the emulater gives any kind of advantage it's banned :(

why that you can play on vc and on emu too in sm64...
also its just a race i think the only thing that should matter if people count his pb or not, he could defenitly not submitt his run to SDA if he gets a record, but i dont see a point in banning him from races just because of that.

because everyone was racing on n64 at first and its like way faster.

but who cares about the rules anyways, i mean its about the fun right? everyone knows that youre on emu now, so why would someone ban you from it. i dont see the point.

Nothing is stopping him from racing and just not joining the race channel on SRL. But it makes prefect sense why he wouldn't be allowed to use Dolphin in a race on SRL.

oh wait esi is like op on srl or something i missed that. i guess that he can tell whats right on that. so yeah i dont think you can join the SRL channel but you can race anyway...
