I don't HAVE the game, so I'll go with any highly recommended track. :P

Daz's mentioned Pirate Homeworld track has piqued my curiosity though.

School has started for me. I'm up to the SkyTown area again. I'm recording the Hunters and Dark Samus, as it doesn't come out too bad on my speakers due to it's louder than usual (I hope). Guy, you're doing levels I guess right (eg SkyTown)?

I'll record Ghor soon, then Gandrayda, then finally Dark Samus and the final boss.

Remember, try 320 kbps, it's the highest quality possible.

It's not really obvious, I just thought it sounded familiar, so I listened for about 15 seconds and thought, hey, that's the statue room music from Super Metroid! At least, I thought it sounded like it.

The Meeting Dark Samus track is absolutely spot on, I don't think you could get more Metroid than that! Shocked

Looking forward to the rest of the music, nice to see so many people pulling together to provide something for the Metroid community

I really don't know where you're getting your ideas, DaDude. First I had "recorded everything," and now I'm just "recording the levels." I am playing through the game, recording every noteworthy music along the way. When I'm done with that, I'll go back and get the other ones (Bryyo Fire, anyone?). Bosses and levels included.

Additionally, 320kbps is what they call Constant Bitrate, or CBR. I'm using Variable Bitrate, VBR, for the MP3s that I encode. That allows optimal quality while making optimal use of disk space. If the data needs more space for a given quality, it may very well take up more than 320kbps. But if there's a spot in a track that is, say, silence, it won't take up many kb's ps at all.

Having said that, I will be processing the following tracks when I get home today, then upload them to Gekko's site:

Whoever admins the site with those tracks is probably very happy about this. :P

Also, I own a server with a good amount of bandwidth if server problems persist. I'd be more than happy to upload.

Alright, I'm sorry. You were right and I was wrong. But how are we supposed to listen to the songs without downloading them and thus flooding the server? By the way, I have gotten an account at Valice.net now.

I don't really understand. That mean you've done everything then? What would you like me to record then?

Edit: I'll do everything on the Sound Gallery too. Mainly, the last planet (won't spoil the name), second Ridley, Bryyo (every one on the menu anyway), and Olympus.

Please note, this means I CANNOT do Dark Samus now, as I am NOT saving my file... then again, I could just back up my file, get someone elses save file instead.

Give me a second to organize my post.

Don't forget that there are two Aurora 313 themes. You only list it once (whereas Bryyo and such get multiple listings), and I've had several people try to tell me both of his forms had the same theme. <_<

(What's the GF Battle Theme anyway?)

I think the GF battle theme is when you're on the Olympus and have to make it back to your ship once the space pirates are attacking. It might also be when the Leviathan is about to impact Norion.
