Metroid Prime 3 music?

What would everyone prefer - Cut, or manual fade out? See, the songs in the sound gallery just cut out. Thankfully, this will be no problem in game.

Anyway, done Steamlord, with it manually cut and pasted to loop. I'm going to record Ridley in game instead, as I can't loop it without a noticable tiny jump. Also, Dark Samus is coming soon, with the last planet.

I prefer fade-out, but I really don't care either way.

I modified the inline frame, Gekko. If you need the old file, check old_index.html. I also see that YOU changed it, so you can check out my proposed format at new_index.html

I seriously have to thank whomever ripped and put up Rundas's boss theme. When I heard it I fell in love with it. I immediately saved and went to the bonus screen to buy it, and I was shocked to see they didn't even have it listed there!

Anyway, thanks for putting it up!

And Just a random notice, and I'm sure that everyone knows about it and heard it. But I like how Gandrayda's boss theme is mixed with the Chykka boss theme from Metroid Prime 2.

But is it just me.. or could they have done more with the music in this game? The music to me isn't as memorable as Metroid Prime 2 and 1. I will always remember Phendrana Drifts 1 and 2, The Tallon overworld theme, Magmoor Caverns, Torvus Bog, The Sanctuary, and ect.

The only Music I find to be memorable in this game would be Skytown and a few boss fights....

Maybe I'm picky.

What random references, though.

Rundas and Emperor Ing? Chykka and Gandrayda? Pirate Homeworld to Crateria I can see, but those other two baffle me.

Also, I'd say Bryyo Cliffsides would be one of my most memorable, along with nearly every battle theme. >_>

Yeah those two I have no idea. Maybe it was user feedback? People may have loved those songs so they just implemented them into boss fights in this game.

As for an official reason I wouldn't have a clue, they don't match up as you say. Probably the only thing would be for Gandrayda...

The Chykka and the Dark Acid water around you and Gandrayda and the Acid Rain around you. But I'm just reaching at air for that.

OK, after getting screwed over in music cuts again, and again, and again, and again, I decided to call it a night. I'm sorry for tonight, but when you find there's first a ****ing skip in the song once you have initially done everything, have to cut it to perfection again, and then if you find the bloody end is cut off too, you have to do it all over again. You would get pretty ****** too if this happened to you. What's worse, I actually dislike (well, now I absolutly hate) the song I'm doing. So I'm gonna call it a night, and wait for my bloody luck to get better. A lot better.

Sorry, rant over. I will get the last two phases of the final boss tomorrow afternoon, if not in the morning. I will also eventually get Bryyo area done, along with what else I promised.

Seriously, guys, thanks so much for the work you're putting into this. One of the strongest parts of the Metroid games, for me at least, has always been the music. The music always has some way of enhancing the atmosphere and enforcing a certain mood. The music in this game is varied and nothing less than what one could expect in a Metroid game. So thank you very much for doing this work for our listening pleasure :D
