Hello, M2k2. You're my last hope. Allow me to explain.

Around 5 years ago, I received a laptop for my birthday. Whilst looking for new games to try, I found an odd Metroid fan game. It was titled "Metroid Desperation". It wasn't based off of another Metroid engine (as far as I could tell), and had fully original graphics (not that they were that good though). One more unique part I remember about it was that it had the X-Ray Visor. Due to the poor graphics, perhaps it was a flash game? But it had its own download. It was a piece of software, not a web-based game.

During one of numerous purges on the machine over the years, I realized I had lost the game. Perhaps I had decided I didn't really care about it any longer. Either way, it was gone, and ever since, I've regretted losing it. Why? Because I can't seem to find it online any longer. I've Google'd for many an hour, I've asked many people, but I've still be unable to locate it, and that frustrates me.

Has anyone ever heard of a "Metroid: Desperation"? And no, before someone says it, not "Metroid: Confrontation" or "Metroid Dread". I'm rather certain that it was "Metroid: Desperation".

Can anyone help me?

What'd you say?
I haven't heard anything about it. http://forum.metroidconstruction.com/ Would be the only other place I'd think to ask as well.
Damn, but alright. At this point, I'd be happy simply with confirmation from another person that's actually heard of it.

I'll bookmark that site though, thank you.
