Metroid Bosses

Personally, I like the Mother Brain. Shes all fat and juicy (Mmm mmm good! Laughing

) But shes really fun to beat, except after, you need to evacuate, like on all of the Metroid games :(-but doesnt that make it all challenging?

It's really weird. Ridley and Kraid are both the same size as Samus, but the Mother Brain is much larger. Mr. Green

I think Ridley just rocks. He's like.....some sort of giant concert made of rocks playing on the rocky mountains in a hard rock cafe made of rock.

Tooz, you oughta try again sometime. Try making your own map, it'll help alot. And go to Ridely's Lair before Kraid's (Ridely's lair is the one with the SSBM Brinstar Depths music).

I see the problem. Yes yoshi, when I said Ridley I thought it applied to all Metroid games. After all, those are the three bosses that have been in multiple games. I should have noticed this was the metroid section, not multiple metroid.

Er, actually, it's perfectly possible to do it on a cart... it's just not bloody likely. The yellow door in Tourain, I would imagine, you could take care of by killing a 'troid or two, unloading everything into the door, picking up the 'troid's missle packs, and using them on the door. Similar to how you get away with 9% on the Zebetites in ZM.

Anyway, what I've heard is that you need to have EVERY METROID in Tourain give you a missle pack. It takes either ungodly luck or save states to pull that shit off.

No, in the 2-item game (which I did on emu to see if it was possible) missiles are fine, as you have 150. I don't pick up any missile packs as they are not necessary and if you were to skip one or both bosses, you'd need more than just 2 items (such as Bombs and at least 1-3 missile pickups since I don't think you can get out of the statue room once going in without Hi-Jump) to make up about 4-6+ items.

Just the Morph Ball and Ice Beam (gotten after killing Ridley) are the 2 I pick up.

Ridley can be pretty hard with just the Morph Ball unless he goes into stupid mode with his fireballs.

I made a movie while trying it out, but as it was just a 'lets see' thing, I didn't play too well.
