I'm using Met-Edit to make a hack of Metroid. I just started, and have only done a little with Brinstar. A few examples of the evilness: no Long Beam or Varia, all enemies are the hard versions, no Tourian without killing the minibosses, and fake-out Chozo statues. However, there are unexplained glitches. The Morph Ball isn't where I put it (switched with the first Missile). Also, there is an odd scroll glitch in the room after the shaft to Kraid.

So it's impossible at the moment then?

Well good luck with that. Maybe you'll get it done before Saturn's SM hack.
That hack should be fun. I have just recently finished Sm, very fun..
I've heard of a hack someone has already done with the nes version though, They called it MetroidX, havn't seen it though
"Metroid Captive"
A VERY Good hack.

Anyways, I had to use Narpas word00 000000 000000
I('d) like to watch (some MP3 runs)
I played some Zebesian something one about 4 years ago (it was on zophar), that was fun.  Go go go.
Is it me, or do people's own personal hacks turn out better than the real game?
it's you.

How are you gentlemen?

Nah, just kidding.

Well, tried it out, got the morph ball...

Then I think the game broke for me, because Samus disappeared.

It can turn out nice.
Ridley!
I had to use NARPAS SWORD0 000000 000000 to actually have fun with this one. I managed to get to where Norfair's elevator is supposed to be but somehow it's not there but wait fall through where it's supposed to be and go down the elevator and once in Norfair go crazy with the buttons and control pad somehow should enter the left door. Now you can completely explore Norfair and it's endless possibilities.
I need to make one of these someday...
