I know there was a thread about this somewhere, but I don't feel like looking fer it. 
Anywho, yeah, it's unbelievable.  Mecha Ridley is actually a CHALLENGE.
Yeah, he's a lot more resilient, and he'll fire his lazor and then often I'll fall down and then he'll slash me, which takes off about half of my energy. 
Anyone have any tips?

For Robo Ridley, just let it slash once, and use as many supers on its stomach as quickly as possible. Actually if you're afraid of running out of missiles, or his lasers, you can use missiles instead, and do just enough damage to not break the glass. You can probably kill him on the next slash.

As for the black pirates, check the Zero Mission page on the main site for a bug you can abuse.
