lol no way
In the multiplayer map called Shooting Grounds, if you acquire a power bomb, detonate it by the turret and immediately get in, it destroys the turret (you) and, strangely enough, gives you a point. Wacky.

Interesting find... I'm kinda surprised that this glitch wasn't discovered in the testing.  Maybe they just didn't care about the multiplayer as much as the single.
I('d) like to watch (some MP3 runs)
Omg wrong forum! Put this in the multiplayer MP2...forum...

Uh ... we don't have a multiplayer Echoes forum?
PAGE BREAKER
Ready and willing.
Exactly.

Yikes, cute find. Poor Retro... it looks like they don't need the ultimate stress test to have horrible bugs discovered in their code.

Exactly why I posted the way I did.  Dur.
They should probably give advance copies to members of Metroid2002, who better testers would there be than SBers?
No way.  They'd just take out everything we'd find.

Yeah but Retro would pay us (much?) money for testing their Metroid games. Money I say ... money!

Watching people beat games incredibly quickly due to programming errors > a few dollars for finding the programming errors that Retro Studios will just remove.

However, if the money we get is much more ($300+) the situation would be different...

Three hundred dollars isn't really a whole lot of money.

But you forget: If you are tester, Retro must NOT know which breaks are in. You could just say there are bugs, but other things needn't to be mentioned.
Like we will ever get hired anyway Rolling Eyes
Game Testing is a horrible, horrible job.

I'm stating this as direct quotes from many people.

That is all.
What luck, there's french fry stuck in my beard.
Yeah, apparently you get fired right after the game is finished.  Whoopee.
Not to mention you ruin the game for yourself, instead of experiencing it as a player. All for what's probably minimum wage (or barely more).

Yeah Gametester is horrible. I was one... in Freelancer. And it's really really horrible, you have no fun with playing because you MUST play in order to get paid.
Sweet, now I can own my friends even FASTER! But then they'll probably find it themselves.
Is there any other way to do this?

Such as bring down the Turret's health to like 10 and than laying a normal bomb, etc?
The turret's "health" is restored to full at every entry.
