When you make a mini-hack where you use over the boundary of room space, and then you let the gamescreen play go by during titles and it looks like a glitchy mess? Oh maybe it's no that funny, but I said it anyways.

It's is hilarious indeed when things don't work as you want them too. Especially when you just can't figure out why.

No, he's talking about the gameplay demos that play at the title; those load from actual room data and seem to function in a similar manner to .smvs. Hacks, naturally, have really weird ones, with input sequences that no longer have anything to do with the terrain. If memory serves, Limit and Legacy have particularly amusing ones.
Interesting, I never thought that some hacks have different demos than the original. Too bad Impossible did not have one, though it would have been quite similar to the original according to the rest of the same map layout half-hacks. Legacy indeed had an interesting demo set.

I am not sure this thing warrants its own topic, especially one that is named this badly. How about thinking something a little more describing next time?

Like: Not reprogramming the demo in hacks... (or some other variation?)

"Not" can also equal "forgetting to". 

Some people may have wanted to but didn't have time or the knowlege how.

And others would have if they had thought of it.
I remember playing a hack that dies in the demo input.

I think there may have been some misinterpretation in this thread. I was merely pointing out that when you have an unused room in your hack that's been gltiched because you used extra space elsewhere, it still shows samus do her thing in that space during the demo.

Worse yet, Control Freak used to enter a room (aiwebs_016) during demo input due to auto-run.
Which was really bad because it would give you control of the game in a game where there was no morph ball or missiles or enemies or any way to do anything interesting. Including dieing.
Oh, and Samus would also fail to kill Mother Brain and then crash the baby metroid scene.
