yes, that's real. Mills has it also on his Metroid in Motion DVD.

I am SO glad that they decided against using that artistic style for the final game. I especially wouldn't be able to stand Samus's bug-eyed visor that she has going there for very long. laugh new

It isn't really that bad at all. But the final style fits better for a Metroid game. Can you imagine a cel-shading Metroid game? LOL

olololol Samus looks so bad. it is just a 16-bit version of the NES Samus with the ability to aim diagonally and crouch and has more detail.

also, interesting to see the Fusion-like messages and map still there.

But then again, official beta-beta screenshots for Fusion looked pretty much the same, so it may be legit.

they decided that 20 power bombs would be a too nice number and killed one to add an additional percent (an unskippable one at that, making the idea of 8% impossible)
