Please excuse the lack of skillful play (Using my emulator for the first time in a while, combined with a controller that's wanting to cut out and become unresponsive..), but there it is.
I did this on both the GBA version and the emulated ROM, so... yeah.
Anyway.
It's somewhat like the H(Horizontal)BJ, but you don't really have any problems with going too high or whatnot. I decided to name it a "Bomb ladder" because it allows passing one space (much like the Ladder from Zelda 1), but using nothing but bombs and some timed taps on the D-pad.
Basically, what you do is this:
Get to a tunnel-like passage (one space tall, Morph Ball only fits), and when you come across a drop in said passage (one space wide):
Start laying bombs - get into a normal IBJ rhythm.
As each bomb explodes, tap the direction you want to go on your D-pad.
If you're doing it right, each explosion's forcing you over as well as your taps - and you can pretty much skip over that gap or drop.
I can only really see it being most useful in the Early Varia, since I can't think of any other places you use it... but if there's any more, then that's great.
If this hasn't been noticed before, then cool. Maybe it'll be slightly useful.
If this has been talked about before, then well. Sorry about that. >_>;
Oh, and on another note, Hi.
